From all our dealings over the years, Mel is great to deal with & a genuine guy,we have done three, 4 day Machine Gun shoots at the complex, that includes personal tour of the Museum by Mel, each one has been stretched out to nearly 1/2 day as Mel loves talking/helping fellow Veterans .
IMO anyone who wanted to & is a hard ,conscientious worker ,could build a career there.
Our veterans group has dealt with Dragonman for our bulk firearm & ammo purchases for just over a Decade ,always great to deal with .One of the guys we dealt (now retired) with for years started out sweeping floors at Dragonmans mechanical shop after he got back from Vietnam, ended up manager of specialized firearms sales. IMO knowing the guy this would be a great way to prove yourself in a company that rewards hard work.

There is one of the original AITC's on the ride ,with your sense of humor you should get your own bike, you would fit in with any club & have a ball.
We have a couple of great fun Veteran woman on this ride,a couple rode with our group from Texas & the reason l did not do the wiring myself when l built my chopper, was the best Auto Electrician l ever had was a woman from our Moto X club who came with us on our ride through Brazil,we run a Cattle Ranch & she did all the work on our machinery & my dive boats as well ,best Auto Electrician l have ever dealt with & a great rider both on the road & off.

This is a nice looking Trike a Vet with only 1 foot rides ,built on a old WLA with the Suicide Clutch/Jockey shifter to suit him.I really like the looks & the rear twin seat can be taken on /off & the tray used to carry his dogs/supplies.

The London To Moscow ride on the DR650ADV's was the real killer,this ride will end up being around a 2200 Mile + round trip, no real problem as it will just be a cruise from here on in.
If l had the custom Old School Sissy Bar & one piece pillion seat l made for it would be a lot better for the ride comfort & carrying gear ,l hate shot flapping inn the wind ,we have a support truck carrying what ever gear we want ,as we have a few Wounded Warriors riding with us & they just about need a trailer to carry their medication & spare limbs alone 🤣.
Hopefully my dopey big brother has found it amongst all his shit in his barn & sent it onto the Club House we are staying at in Washington.I swear one of us is adopted ,l said to him to make sure he dropped the oil & stuck new filters & tires on it for me to just jump on & get going ,the hopeless fuck took to a Dallas Harley dealer & paid them to do it ,probably cost him a grand knowing Harley dealers, when all l meant was for him to do it, like men do .🤣
Being a old dirt bike racer ,rides like this are a piece of cake ,l actually redid the mock up 3 times while l was building this, to get what suited my 6'1 bod the best,as it is now with the custom pillion seat it is more comfortable on long rides than my Road King,it also helps l spend a few months a year climbing deep snow laden mountain passes on horse back.

Trikes these days are really good as they have access to better motor/tranny /diff options .when you get around to it let us know if you want a hand ,l raced dirt bikes for decades & competed internationally so our barns were always full of pulled down bikes ,this was my 14th complete custom build l did in my own shed.
Always happy to help a fellow Vet & l have found our social ride/ clubs a great way to talk about vet shit & get it off your chest while getting you outside,me a Vet Buddy rode custom ADV bikes we buily ourselves based on the DR650 from London to Moscow & have done ADV expeditions in Morroco,Mexico & Brazil with a our group of Veterans .
We use to do all the main NFL games but gave that away even before they went all the way woke ,so now we have been to all the major Machine Gun Shoots & do regular hunts./fishing /rafting/diving expeditions .
I use to have a man can full of NFL memorabilia ,l have not watched a game since & sold the lot & with the bike club etc have not missed it at all.

Thanks, its my own build, a custom Pan S&S ,thats the handmade & upholstered single seat, it also has a custom Old School pillion Sissy Bar set up ,but lent it to my brother to ride around Texas before he moves back& he could not find it in his barn full of shit in time (l only decided to ride on Xmas day after my Vet buddy talked me into it).
I was going to drive my Ford Excursion 7.3 Powerstroke 4x4 l just brought before xmas down on its first big drive & get it fitted with a HD Suspension & tow pack from one of the shops on the way back ,but they were all whining about getting gear & what days they would be open etc etc ,so l will just order it in & fit myself.
I grew up racing bikes off road so have always had a shed full ,l sold them all apart from a custom expedition build l did based on a DR650 & rode among other expeditions from London To Moscow on with a Vet buddy & this Chopper ,so l could concentrate on my current passion of Long Range Hunting around the world .
Having spent all my tours/fighting in Afghanistan in mountain COP's, l have the usual knee problems from humping BS loads up & down mountains ,so decided l best do as much mountain climbing/ hunting while l still can .
