Thing is, they actually made up a study that showed “diversity” in company leadership helped increase profits. The government will point to that when companies complain about the rules.

I work in the medical industry. Most doctors are Indian or East Asian. While most entry level health care employees are Hispanic or Black (overrepresented by immigrants).
So yes, that’s definitely a case of immigrants edging out white doctors.
The reasoning is actually logical: Raising a cow until slaughter age requires a huge amount of resources (fresh water to grow grass, hay, grazing land). It follows that a substitute meat would use less of these resources, and the resources could be used more efficiently to allow for human population growth.
But the plan falsely assumes 1) Climate change is a problem, and 2) Western people will happily give up luxuries like eating real meat so the Gates Foundation can redirect resources to Africa
Bill lives in another reality where he thinks he’s a God and can do things like this because he feels like it.
Neither would be best. 50% of the country pays taxes. If everyone gets a $10,000 stimulus check, that means taxpayers like me have to cover it eventually. I’d end up paying $20,000 in taxes to fund the stimulus.
