He kneels before his god, just as they do.
Who needs fakebook when you can just tell it to their faces, directly. It is rather comical in my workplace, where I am the sole conservative. Everybody there knows it, because I tell them.
You would laugh to see the liberals sidle into my office under false pretenses, ostensibly asking me about the latest IT project when in fact they want to hear for themselves what an actual real-life conservative might say. I am probably the only one they have ever spoken to. Not that they would ever actually listen, but who cares. I do not understand the subterfuge -- if you want to hear what I think, just ask straight up and I will tell you.
Liberals just gonna liberal, I guess. Nothing about these people is genuine or true.
Darrell Owens is correct. It is selling your body -- your time, your sweat, your skill, your brainpower.
It is just that some of us can command a higher price.
If you do not want to work in the warehouse, get a better job. Don't have the skills to move ahead? Acquire them. You are your product, and you are the best salesperson for it. Stop waiting for somebody else to overpay for your product, Darrell Owens.
Be trained or be chained, my brothers and sisters!
And then everybody clapped. Literally, in this case! Wow.
First chortle of the day! Thanks fren!
I give some of mine to friends who do not have their own copies.
Don't forget Reason. You can make them listed to Reason.
Came here to make that very same post, pede! Right on! Gonna go fire up some Mister Blue Sky right now. Thanks!
Arrgghh! I know the feeling well, my friend. With me, it's reholstering the 92. If I am not careful, I will pinch myself between the gun and the kydex Every. Time.
I wonder if in-shape dudes have these problems? Or do they have their own problems. "Oww the muzzle keeps digging into my hip bone" or "eww this holster chafes against my washboard six-pack" haha.
I have a six-pack of abs too! You just cannot see them beneath the, err, layers of protective padding. ;-)
Thank goodness we still have the freedom to defend ourselves with firearms, that we can carry concealed on our persons. At least in some states, anyways...
The 92 compact can be concealed. But yeah you do have to put a little work into it -- their "compact" is the same size as many full-sized pistols. I use an AIWB kydex holster, but I am also kindof fat, and the gun sortof gets pushed into my blubber. Sorry to be gross, but it does help hide it better lol. Oh and yeah you really do need to use a heavy-duty belt.
Protip: if your Beretta 92 ever runs out of ammo when facing down the bad guys, you can always beat them to death with it.
BTW, my LTT compact is a G model, or at least has the G-style decocker only. Goodbye, 92FS safety. Your Wilson Combat is a pretty sweet gun too! And my friend is Italian; her dream is to have a Made in Italy 92! Trying to find her an M9A3.
Thanks for the info!
A lot of "adults" do not know much about taxes either. At least in the sense that they have gotten so used to them, they do not even notice them any longer.
Litmus test: ask anybody what their largest expenses are. Most will say mortgage, car, loans, hookers and blow, whatever. Very few will say "taxes" when, in fact, taxes are almost certainly their largest expenditure.
Hear, hear on the Beretta. For some reason, many people consider Beretta 92s to be old-fashioned (which they are, but in a good way) and somehow not as good (which they most definitely are not).
So while everybody is snapping up all of the two-toned lime green and chartreuse pocket pistols with the .25" inch barrels and built-in WiFi and Instagram and grips in Rich Corinthian Leather, you will often venture into your local gun shop and see a nice little pile of Beretta 92s, all by themselves in a dark and dusty corner of the shelf, waiting patiently for somebody to take them to their Forever Home.
Sauce: proud new (within the past couple of months at any rate) owner of a Beretta 92 compact LTT and it is a damn fine weapon.
There were -- it happened two times that I have heard of; maybe more. The huge number of votes for Bidet were added in, then removed. And then it happened again. You could see it in the reported numbers as they changed.
There is a reason why Fairfax County is always the last to report its numbers, out of the entire state of Virginia. There is a reason why these "mistakes" always favor the democrats.
With Biden we can all 6uild 6ack 6etter!
LOL! Great story! You "scumbags" sound a lot like the people who live around where I go driving at Rausch Creek and Anthracite. Good people and I love visiting there. Looking forward to returning.
When the Second American Revolution starts, people like Barron will be the first to get lined up against a wall.
How much angrier will she be when she shows up in a few days to see overflow crowds from the movie company, sitting at her outdoor patio, all in perfect compliance with the Imperial Decrees. The same patio that her paying customers are forbidden from sitting at.
I have said many times: remember in the past when we would have a "government shutdown" lasting two or three weeks? My oh my, how the fedgovs would howl.
"Social security checks won't go out! We have to close all the parks! People won't get their food stamps! I have to sell a kidney on the black market just so I can buy food for my babies! Dogs and cats living together!"
All so that they would not miss a single one of their taxpayer-funded paychecks. And for most of those unlucky few who DID miss a paycheck, why, they got it all paid back them after the "shutdown" ended.
Sadly I don't think Leuffen and Wheeler are with OANN any longer. But if you are including previous anchors / hosts, don't forget Kaushal Patel. Or Stephanie Hamill!
If you like historical fiction, and want a break from current events, try Patrick O'Brien's Aubrey / Maturin series. The main characters serve in the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic Wars. The books trace the arc of their development as people, warfighters, and friends.
Although set in another time, the books highlight many themes a fellow Pede can identify with today: honor, duty, courage, being sneaky, drinking, risking one's life and fortune to defend a friend, loving good music, lifelong learning, and much more.
WARNING: highly addictive.

A moldy oldy that I -- unbelievably -- still hear to this day.
No, other people get work done also. Some more than others. For that matter, I myself could be doing some work right now instead of posting here, but I do my job.
I am the "IT guy" though, and I guess they feel it is easier to keep me than replace me.
But I will never understand the subterfuge. Not that I am interested in their political opinions -- they all think the same things anyways -- but if I ever want their opinions on anything else, I just ask them. I would never bother with constructing an elaborate false conversation, the only purpose of which is to slowly ease in to whatever it is I really want to discuss.
What a waste of everybody's time. And they all do it!
