At the risk of sounding too much like the devil's advocate: part of the reason cops are stressed and under-motivated is because they are asked to do a lot of non-cop things. Especially with the opioid epidemic* and working class Americans being squeezed to death by corporations when they try to do things by the book... Well, there is a lot of shit going on. And cops are being asked to shovel it because there's nobody else to do it.

*Where's all the attention for that gone by the way? Oh wait don't tell me...

Hitler criticised the socialists who signed the treaty of Versailles, destroyed unions to court industrialists, killed Gregor Strasser and others who were advocating for socialist policies in the NSDAP, outlawed the socialist party, and sent members of that party to concentration camps (that's what Dachau was built for). And that's all before 1934.

Hitler's national-socialism is one where the people would come together (hence 'socialism' ) based on their ethnicity (in ethno-states, hence 'national-'). It didn't have much to do with economic classes nor opposing capitalism, which is the core of socialism now.

All the headlines professing that she had a "minimally invasive non-surgical procedure" are honestly kind of funny. They need to be re-assuring.

A big question is though, even if she does die before the election, will the house let a nomination of a judge through? My guess is that McConnell's trick 4 years ago kind of destroyed whatever semblance of a chance there would otherwise have been

Might not be second ammendment, but I seem to vaguely remember freedom of speech being covered by an ammendment somewhere. Who knows these days
