Hey Pedes, I need an overwhelming cache of evidence to prove that NYC is a dangerous shithole right now. We have a tentative trip planned for around Christmas time. I've told her about the stats but she insists that the tourist area where we'll be staying (Times Square, roughly) is safe as ever.

I also do not want to reward that retard DiBlasio by spending our money there, but safety is my main concern.

So far I have noted in my document the overall rise in shootings, the NYPD retired sargent in Manhattan last week, and the hundreds of homeless addicts and diddlers that were moved into upper west hotels, all crimes waiting to happen.

Any help would be very much appreciated! links, stats, anecdotal evicdence, anything you think mught be helpful. She's actually a Trump supporter but she also peruses Fakebook and minimizes the overall threat level. Very, very frustrating...
