Ive believed for a while we are at the dawn of the next epoch in human history. The last great change being the Reformation in the 1500s. The combination of the printing press and religious disagreement set Europe on fire. It was the emergence of quick communication allowed by quick printing that caused european society to be at odds with one another.

Today we have the combination of the internet and computers in our pocket. Instant communication, not across a continent but the world. People are again at odds due to this, reason goes out the window and America burns. If history tells us anything its that new technology radically changes things. I think we are just beginning to see how.

Im glad the real problem is finally coming to light. White supremacist asians are a blight on society. Idk how Mr. Chauvin was married to one for so many years! Honk honk

But now we see the world for what it always has been, a clown world. Its not that anything has changed. The cover has just been pulled off to show the world’s true colors.

I’ve struggled with this very question for years and I’m not sure it’s so simple. There is one Church yet many parts. There is one faith but different gifts. How do we reconcile it all?

14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? 18 But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts,[b] yet one body.

Its not just the pope. The deeper issues are still theological. The Catholic. Church has come along way in the last 500 years to acknowledge much of what the reformers believed but there are still deep fundamental differences. Given the trajectory of our world the church needs to find a way back together.

Agreed. Im a descendent of German Anabaptist. Attending those and Pentecostal churches pushed me deep into Lutheran and Reformed thinking. Theology is so important. Know what you believe and why you believe it.

Some on here may not like it and thats fine. We can all make up our own minds. The state of our world causes many to ask tough questions. Tough questions have hard answers. I promise they don’t want you hearing this stuff in China.

Welcome to the club bud. Religion is tough to talk about but its the ultimate red pill if you take it.

Imagine the unknowable patience of God for him to put off his divine justice and suffer our failings. It really splits the soul.

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”

Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Spent time in that area recently. Saw a surprising number of trump flags in PA/NJ. There may be hope.

Christ is the church and we are the body. The building is a building.

The US is the last beacon of light and freedom in the world and it is slowly being snuffed out. When America falls freedom will be gone from this world until Christ returns.

These are birth pains. It will be much worse than this. Christ is the fortress.
