Here is the issue with that line of thought, it’s not Christian. The concept of people being good or bad with the ability to choose is Pelagianism. Its not biblical and was denounced as heresy in 418; yet the idea sticks around.
Some people believe the Roman Catholic church is SEMI-Pelagian. Meaning we can’t be good entirely on our own and need help from God; but that there is a human component.
Protestants could be called anti-pelagian. Some non protestants consider some protestants(calvinists) to be Antinomian. Protestants believe in total depravity or that the will is bound to be bad due to original sin. Meaning there is no ability to really be good and any ability to do good is entirely dependent on God.
Not trying to intrude here, but I thought some history would be helpful.
He doesn’t need our worship but we were made to glorify him.
“Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever“ - Westminster Shorter Catechism
He lowered himself beneath his station that he might raise us above ours.
This is a reminder that on the day that liberty dies and they’ve erased conservatives, They will move on to people posting pictures of babies in mangers. To all my non-Christian friends, think of us when they come for us.
If you believe In the coming one world government then you probably have to admit that America is the one thing standing in the way. It seems the Beacon of Liberty must be snuffed out before tyranny can rule the earth. Painting conservative Christians as insurrectionists is a convenient way to remove them.
I lean more towards secession each day. Nothing says “fuck you” like “im leaving”
We can almost copy/paste South Carolina’s Declaration of Secession
The kingdom is coming
