I agree. Homeschooling was never my plan. I liked a lot of things about school. I looked forward to seeing my friends every day. I liked many of my teachers and was excited to learn. My parents got a well deserved break that in my opinion made them more "on" during our time together in the afternoon and evenings.
But the direction the schools have gone is beyond alarming. I hope patriots will get involved local and begin to right thr ship once more. I'd also like to see home school grow as an option too.

In fact, it taught me how to function within the system for my own purposes when I desire to do so.

Those are great, but they're not always enough. You're just fortunate.
