The guy who doxxed two people into changing their votes in Wayne County has hundreds of people in the comments section cheering for him. The Democrat voters apparently love doxxing and think it represents Democracy. In case you think I'm exaggerating...
"Playing your speech to my boys 10 and 13 because this is what fighting racism and standing up for democracy looks like."
"Bravo !! Wonderful job to all !! This is what democracy looks like !! Clapping hands sign. Clapping hands sign"
Among these cheerleaders are people in black bandanas, obscuring their faces. Hmm, I wonder...

I saw a lot of projects started but never saw completed work (which is fine), but if it hasn't been done, it needs to get done. However, it's not useful for us to duplicate work. So, any word?

Ladies and Gentlepedes,

With stuff like this and this happening, we have to protect ourselves online. I am far from an expert, but I will share a few things that I considered when first researching this topic. I hope others will chime in below.

  • Get a VPN!!!!

  • Google is not your friend. Chrome browser, google search, and gmail are all a liability. Get rid of them. You need an adblocker, something to stop trackers, etc. Alternatives below.

  • Cover camera lens on your phone, laptop, and monitors. They make handy dandy sliders for just a few dollars. Just slide open when you want to be on camera.

  • Delete bullshit apps off your phone and never forget it has GPS Don't make it easier to be tracked.

  • If you have Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant in your home, reconsider.

  • Assess your overall Internet presence. How hard would it be to doxx you? How open is your social media? What comes up on Google? If someone leaked or hacked one account, how far would it cascade?

Recommendations:

  • Browser--> Brave or Firefox or Tor (if you're really hard core)
  • Privacy Add-Ons for Browser --> Privacy Badger by EFF, Ghostery, Facebook Container (if you must)
  • VPN --> I don't love my provider, so shout yours out below.
  • Secure Text Messaging & Calls --> Signal
  • Secure Email --> Proton Mail
  • Search Engine - DuckDuckGo

No phone number required. My browser privacy add-on and adblocker register NO threats or ads. This is huge!

There are groups with large followings already. Seems like most everyone has at least one social media ban under their belt, which makes for pretty good company lol

You can sort groups by new, top, and hot like on Reddit. You can also sort my recent activity (i.e. comments and such).

There is still an individual news feed like Twitter/Facebook. You can type more than Twitter (thankfully).

I'll probably check out MeWe for comparison. I've already checked out saidit.net.

Btw, just to be abundantly clear, I love TD.Win. Not going anywhere! I'm trying to ween myself off of my other social media channels. I've been hanging on due to groups for my other interests.
