The whole concept is flawed and a product of (one of the few times the West got something wrong) a mechanistic view of biology. if the only difference between (bad) insanity / mental illness and (good) insanity / genius is whether you are having fun or not, something is off with the definition. Doesn't take into any consideration surrounding and some people being set up to use and exercise their unique talents while others have, like, 2 options and both are shit and therefore the person 'is crazy' / 'goes crazy'. I dunno. That's what I think. What do I know, though? I 'am' crazy, so....lol.

Anyways, doesn't surprise me at all. ChapoTrapHouse does this often. I go over there and speak to them about how goofy and wrong they are...because I believe that's the way forward for our country (not laughing behind each other's backs, etc)...it's about what you'd expect, in terms of the reaction I get. But, I like that I'm being up front and that, occasionally, there's someone on the total opposite side of the political spectrum who has common sense and is willing to address me as a person.
That's always a grounding and good feels moment. Even if it's just a post or two before we separate again.
TL;DR: ChapoTrapHouse is filled with edgy communists who take their gulag jokes a little too seriously. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Russia or China (or any number of enemies of America) are over there egging them on in the same manner that they were (in a very obvious way) over on T_D and DS egging on the right to extremes. They fund and weaponize both sides because they want us miserable and at war with each other and not communicating across the aisle. Good lord, that's my TL;DR???? lol
