I was born a few months after 9/11, born into the War on Terror. Looking back on it and how it is still going I want to see how everyone on here reflects on it. I know it is easy to simply say it has gone on too long an parts of it was a mistake, but I see it differently. In my opinion, the basic goal of revenge against the people who carried out the attacks has mostly been accomplished with most of them being killed (aside from the Saudis). However, from my perspective things got out of hand with Obama restricting the troops and letting power vacuums Bush created go unfilled by reasonable governments. I support President Trump pulling troops out of most of the Middle East. It seems that most of the conflicts they have been pulled into are unrelated to our goals, however I do feel that in some places small forces should remain to prevent more terrorist groups rising up (ex. Protecting valuable oil fields that could fund terrorists). So what do you think?
The winner of this packed primary was Pharmacist Diana Harshbarger. While I was rooting for Adkins (who I voted for), Gapp, or Crowe, I'll definitely vote for Harshbarger over the Democrat. I personally think that more people on this site should post about their local races, and not just post results, but also post information on the candidates leading up to the election.

If anyone didn't already know, all the major cable networks (even Fox News) were airing a special to celebrate the class of 2020, since almost every graduation has been cancelled. At the beginning it had some good Zoomer nostalgia with early Spongebob, Club Penguin, etc., but it quickly devolved into crappy rap music and Lebron being Lebron. The icing on the cake was Obama giving a speech to "honnor" this year's seniors. As to be expected it was just a big propaganda piece about racism, climate change, (surprisingly not much about school shootings) and him encouraging kids to ignore their parents' traditions. As a zoomer myself who despises the mass media trying to exploit events, Obama using the loss of my graduation to push his agenda doesn't cement my hatred of his job as President, he did that a long time ago, but this most definitely didn't help. Did anyone else watch this?
