I own a 53 Corvette. They asked me to display the car at the proving grounds for their 50th. The guys that owned the 1978 and 2003 were both engineers at The Desert Proving Grounds (DPG) (see pictures)

Here are pictures of the turbines on display that day at DPG

They rolled them out and "lit" them later that afternoon.
Turbine power is cool but very inefficient at low speeds. In 2003 I was at GM's Desert Proving grounds for their 50th anniversary. They brought out the Turbine Firebirds I & II and fired them up. I asked the engineers why they abandoned the idea of a turbine. They told me there really was no practical way to create a turbine car that can function in a day to day driving environment as well as a normal internal combustion engine. Catastrophic turbine failure would also fill the passenger compartment with lots of shrapnel.
the Clerk for Wayne county is:
Cathy M. Garrett - Wayne County Clerk Gregory P. Mahar - Director of Elections Jennifer Redmond - Deputy Director of Elections Gil Flowers - Manager of Campaign Finance

I'm not sure the legal definition of "in possession of the clerk" means yet. Is the van "Clerk possession?"
And where did they go for the 7.5 hours? They could have gotten lost in Ohio and still made it to the arena quicker then they did.
In person voting was 7AM to 8PM. ( https://www.clickondetroit.com/decision-2020/2020/11/03/2020-election-what-time-do-polls-open-and-close-in-michigan/ )
I guess they could argue that they voted in person before 8, but the ballots did not get to the counting center for 7.5 hours. That does not pass the smell test. These ballots would have been from the Detroit metro area. there is no way they should have arrived after midnight. According to the video on TGP the previous last batch arrived around 10:30PM
Now the sign on the door of the truck read "Vote Mobile" If these are considered absentee ballots they had to be in the clerks hands by 8PM. Apparently the chain of custody does not exist for these ballots. I'm looking for the sauce but at some point I heard they were told this truck got "lost" trying to get to the arena.
OK lets see 2 possibility. The kid is sick and they are going to get him COVID tested. They are headed west on Mayo BLV as in the Mayo Clinic. I did that with my daughter in July. I wore a mask inside the car as I drove her to the doc. otherwise yup Biden voter.
that's OK they will find plenty when they start importing it from Chyna and the Middle East.
