Ironically the left has shot themselves in the foot.
The new SCOTUS doesn't have to be sworn in before the next election, they only have to be sworn in before the next inauguration.
The left has been setting up so many voter laws to cause the election to get dragged on for so many weeks as they count ballots post-facto that they now have pushed the inauguration so far back that a new SCOTUS will have time to be confirmed.
They can't have both (They'll likely have neither)

May she Rest In Peace. It’s sad that someone can waste their last few years of this precious life holding on to hate and grudge, she should have retired years ago but she threw away her final years to hold out for personal political bias and died before Trumps term anyways. It’s so sad watching the left use their people like this. Her and Biden. These folks should be retiring and enjoying the few years they have left but they are/were held prisoner by hate.
