Yes, but if it was purely facts that people responded to it would not have progressed so far down this current road.

I thought as long ago as March of last year that this was a gross exaggeration of a pandemic, everything pointed to it even at that time.

Videos of empty ER's, historically baseless predictions and witness accounts of highly suspect medical statistics...and so on.

And, yes - it would be nice if facts won the day - but I'd be satisfied with just gut instinct and commonsense - because ultimately that's largely how you survive in life.

don't forget to add obesity and pre-existing conditions to the mix, as well as the over use and often deadly ventilators:

Study: Most N.Y. COVID Patients on Ventilators Died

Among the 2,634 patients for whom outcomes were known, the overall death rate was 21%, but it rose to 88% for those who received mechanical ventilation, the Northwell Health COVID-19 Research Consortium reported.

"There had been a tendency earlier on in the crisis for people to put patients on ventilators early, because patients were deteriorating very quickly," Chaddha said. "That is something that most of us have stepped away from doing.

"We let these patients tolerate a little more hypoxia [oxygen deficiency]. We give them more oxygen. We don't intubate them until they are truly in respiratory distress," Chaddha said. "If you do this correctly, if you put somebody on the ventilator when they need to be put on the ventilator and not prematurely, then the ventilator is the only option."

What is lifetime parole?

Lifetime probation (or probation for life [in the US state of Georgia], parole for life, lifelong parole, lifetime parole, lifelong probation, or life term probation)

reserved for relatively serious legal offenders. The ultimate purpose of lifetime probation is to examine whether offenders properly maintain good behavior as well as capability of patience under lifetime probation serving circumstance

I am leaning toward the idea that the vaccine is a marker for something coming up in the future that will differentiate between the compliant types and the resistant types.

A filter that could be used depending on the capabilities of those at some future point in time.

Yeah, and great effort was made to keep people from knowing the truth of such things even though it was POTUS himself in addition to many medical professionals who pointed to the efficacy of such treatments.

🤔 Aye, I understand why people comply when their livelihoods are threatened - I won't cast judgement on them - because we each have our own limits to how much we will take and we each have a tipping point where the increasingly high cost of compliance overrides the benefit of compliance.

I just think that it is becoming far more clearer now.

🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

Since you are spending your time sowing division I'll give you same answer I did to your other comment:

Grow and stop acting like a child who is afraid of the dark so chooses to hum a nursery rhyme.

Yeah, just like how most the caravans are these days - there's a good video on that showing money being handed out and setups for camera and photos.

Also the buses that let the people off to walk for a bit so they can be filmed for the news, then back on the buses.

I'm not that excited about another election cycle, I'm sorry.

Trump did so much...but much of it easily reversed and impermanent.

But more importantly - there has been a sea change in the American psyche that may ultimately bring about real and lasting positive change.

Although it likely will not come about without violence at this point.

Yes, I'm just being cautious - I was leery of the stories when they first popped up about how this was "Trump's fault" and then the attackers kept being some shade of brown and in certain politically left areas of the country...

I realize the dangers of how the media can magnify something into a bigger more widespread problem (COVID, shark attacks, etc) but this brown on Asian attacks seems to be a legit trend...maybe fed by news coverage?

I dunno - even if you take race completely out of it you still end up with stupid senseless thuggery.
