I remember my social studies teacher way back in Middle School was educating us about the electoral college and how it’s possible for a president to win an election despite loosing the popular vote.
I volunteered my name to be used as an example and boy were my classmates (I wasn’t very popular in school, just an outcast cause I was an ugly duckling) were pissed when I won the electoral portion of the vote eventhough I lost the popular portion.
