Conspiracy time....(I don't believe this).
DNC figures out riots are backfiring and massively boosting Trump, time to end them.
DNC tells Mayor to end them.
Mayor goes rogue and doesn't
DNC issues order to scare him. (notice they aren't trying to kill him?)
I agree with you, but way too many people here have militia fantasies and think this stupid kid is a hero and are living vicariously through him. This kid went across state lines to LARP at being militia just like Antifa LARP at being revolutionaries. So yeah, expect lots of hate here for speaking the truth.
Was he there protecting his or his families property ("his community", is not an acceptable answer)? I don't think so, ergo, he (they) went looking for trouble. IMHO it was as much a LARP as the antifa idiots, it just turned deadly.
Am I the only guy not 100% behind this kid?
I'm not mourning the thugs he shot....but...
He went there looking for trouble (with others) and had to defend himself because of a situation he went looking for and put himself in.
TRIGGER WARNING
I know a lot of people here have this militia fantasy and are living vicariously through him...it doesn't make him right.
I mean...reporting the chief to the IG or NCIS for some shitty memes? Didn't there used to be something called a chain of command that you're supposed to follow. Of course, you can see the flurry of downvotes I got for suggesting that.
After having been in one for 7 years, I think they generally get a bad rap. Yeah, you can't do everything you want...but that also means your neighbors can't...and that's a good thing. They generally only really suck when you get some retired Karen who is trying to play neighborhood cop.
I know the rabid "muh freedoms" will disagree, but I don't especially care.
P.S. That cutout would be disallowed by my HOA too I'm pretty sure. But I'm not going to dig out the book and check, I know there are some things in there about window coverings and stickers and such.
Call me a cynic, but I don’t automatically believe things People say, even if it’s things I want to hear.
Lots of people lie about political affiliation because they think it adds weight to their opinion. Also it wouldn’t be the dumbest political move ever for a political action group to try to paint a picture of lots of people defecting.
I can't speak for the other military subs, but r/navy is as compromised as r/politics.
