I briefly donated to Kelly Loeffler's campaign because I was concerned about losing the Senate. Then it started to become clear that she was a complete tool and I got a refund. I may donate to Josh Hawley since he's my Senator and so far has been pretty solid but we'll have to wait and see how it goes with him. It's easy to like republicans when they are the party out of power. When they get power is when you find out who they really are.
I am much more cognizant of where I spend my money and time than 5 years ago but will almost always go with quality. Exceptions to this rule are where the cost of the superior quality is prohibitive. Where quality between 2 products is close to equal I will then consider who's behaving better.
I don't regularly drink soft drinks and when I do I don't have any particular brand loyalty. It's all basically carbonated sugar water sold at a 1000% markup and promoted by assholes in sports and entertainment. When it comes to tires I buy Michelin. I have no idea what their politics are but they are damn good tires and I'm not putting myself at risk buying crap tires just because of politics.
In tech, I have completed my conversion to BRAVE browser not only due to politics but because it's a superior product and Duck duck go (except for work where I sometimes need to use Google or IE). I moved to Gab, Rumble, Bitchute, locals and mewe for social media. I am ready and willing to give up my Samsung phone if someone will PLEASE make a sufficient substitute. NO, Apple is an equally bad choice. Torba said he's working on a phone. I want a Gab phone. I don't use Netflix or cable subscriptions.
My worst offense is buying from Amazon. I'll admit it, I'm hooked. I would love to move to a better choice. Someone, please start competing with these assholes! I am perplexed at how Walmart has drug their heels when it comes to improving their online sales. If they had started 10 years ago they could have ground Amazon into the dust or at least given them some serious competition. With their enormous distribution network, they still have the power to take them on if they want. They are foolish not to. I'm not saying that Walmart is the best choice I just think that they are slightly better than Amazon when it comes to their political leanings.
