Since when has the convenience of one persons life take precedence over another persons life? That same “burden on society” logic has been used over and over again to justify euthanasia, ethnic cleansing, and genocide. One could say “welfare recipients are a burden on society, so why not execute them?”
If the “right” in this country is going to be okay with abortion, we really do deserve everything God is allowing to happen to us. He does not need to bring wrath upon us, he can just step out of the way and allow us to destroy ourselves.
Romans 1:28-31 (NASB) And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;
take a step back and think rationally about what is the best strategy
Rationally thinking, why would doing the same thing we have tried for 40 years all if a sudden work “this time”? That sound more like insanity than rational thinking.
I give that most American churches don’t do crap, and their solution is “let’s just prey”, then proceed to ignore the answer and go back to living a live of comfort and ease because living a life of sacrifice is too hard. God is going to deal with them and they will start to disappear:
“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.” John 15:6 (NASB)
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.” Matthew 5:13 (NASB)
Prayer is not inaction, it is the beginning of action. Look at the founding of the country and you will see men who praying gave them the strength to stand up to the worlds most powerful army.
Not so much that it is active wrath, but probably more of a Romans 1 turning over to ourselves.
Take a chill pill, relax, unwind, regroup. You won’t make any smart actions in the fit of rage. Wise choices can only be made with a clear head.
We we live on to fight another day, unless you are an establishment republican then you live on to surrender another day.
This sounds like the same people that say if the GOP would drop Trump, they would actually win elections. If the right dropped the abortion fight, they would cease to exist as a political power as majority of the base would walk away overnight.
