Approval polls are bs anyway. October after GEOTUS’s election trump was around 35 approval

Ooh definitely. From what I've seen they think of it as a thought experiment and a check on religious freedoms. ( Like one time they wanted to put a statue of baphomet next to a statue of the ten commandments in front of a courthouse or something. legally, the courthouse would have had to allow all religious imagery if it allowed any, so the 10 commandments statue got taken down. That was the satanist temple's goal the whole time)

Unfortunately birth control can fail. Most birth controls are 98-99% effective, meaning that out of 100 women using the birth control PERFECTLY 1-2 will get pregnant in a year. That means out of a million women on birth control, anywhere from ten to twenty thousand have an unplanned possibly unwanted pregnancy in a year.

So the libs don't actually disbelieve these statistics or think that the data itself is racist. They think that if blacks make less money than whites, then that can be explained in 2 ways:

  1. blacks are lazy and worse (which they think is the racist explanation ) or
  2. blacks have been discriminated against /have some other "systemic" issue working against them that leads them to being paid more

That's why they're always talking "systemic"

I still listen to NPR occasionally, and the other day they were actually doing an interview with someone who was in the Taliban controlled areas trying to escape and talking about how terrified she was.

I mean if we want to be charitable, if they believe vaccines work, it makes sense they wouldn’t want unvaccinated around their kids b/c kids can’t get vaccinated and don’t have the protection

That’s not a great example because the gov does require a license, registration, seat belts, etc.

I’m glad too!!

When in reality the majority of unvaccinated people are the blacks Latinos and poor people!!!

According to them the masks aren’t to protect you, they’re to protect everyone else from your spit just in case you are infected and asymptomatic

Yeah, their whole argument with masks the whole time is that they are for keeping the virus in, not keeping it out.

What do we do about the idea that COVID spreads asymptotically??? Is that even true?

We stay home when we are sick so that we don’t get other people sick (as well as because we feel shot)

Despite not being a lib anymore, I still believe that racism is harmful.

I have leftie "friends" that I still keep an eye on on Social media, and they're still talking about it all the time. Won't shut up about race "justice" actually.

Why does fascism cause those things? What's fascism exactly???

I'm having a convo elsewhere about what communism is too. I've only heard the lib definitions and I'm trying to understand the truth about these things.

I asked the dude about who owns the coffee shop, and he said that literally all the long-term employees have equal ownership of the business and that any new employees will become full "employee-owners" after 18 monyhs.

I also sent him some of your message (without telling him where it's from, for obvious reasons. I'm trying to not to clue this one in on my ideas so I can keep an eye on the enemy) and he says that there's a difference between "private property" and "personal property" and that personal property is things like the house you live in, your stuff, your car etc, but private property is businesses, factories etc, and that in communism you get to keep "personal property" but that "private property" would change to "collective property" where the workers own it.

Woah this shit is seriously seductive. I googled private vs personal property to understand it better, and I found this quote literally from the communist manifesto "private property has already been abolished for nine-tenths of the population" and that it's the Elites who control everything. God damn.... I've seen people on this site talk about how much power the elites have and how awful that is. We have to be careful cause it seems like hating elites is dangerously close to communism. Or maybe there's another way to deal with elites that isn't communism?

Bc obviously communism doesn't happen the way communists think it does, and it's always violent and terrible.

So.... Is class consciousness and solidarity a good thing?

1
Ex-lib-learning 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean. We tell libs to "just quit " their jobs when they whine about something their jobs make them do. We can just find a new job that doesn't make us modify our DNA.

You sound like my ex leftie friends, pede. They talk about class so much.

Unless if you go left enough you come back around to Right when it comes to hating eletes.
