Since I was a kid, like many others, I've been dreaming about Israel, my home, making peace with the Arab nations.

Trump & Bibi are making dreams come true.

I bet he even DMed trump right b4 to get he's ok. Bibi knows too well what a great partnership he has with Trump (and the opposite with the democrats), so he probably wouldn't just ditch trump as easily as you think. He is way smarter than that.

The idea that the US election could even theoretically be stolen is considered extremely fringe around here in israel, especially at the upper classes. If he were to act differently, it would do very little to help Trump, and could be used against israel in case Trump will not be raising his hand on the 20th. If you ask me, Bibi felt this is the responsible thing to do, and said the minimum he could get away with.

How racist of you to automatically associate an Israeli Jew with the Mossad :p

A PLEA TO TD.WIN MODS - I run a team of amazing developers in israel, and we want to help TD grow and scale and become better. PLEASE READ!

I’m Eyal Hertzog, and I’ve been a serial entrepreneur for over 25 years. I didn’t have my big break, but i did manage to:

  • Create Contact.com at 1998 and raise $15m for it - one of the first social networks
  • Create Metacafe.com at 2003 - a video sharing platform that was 2dn to YouTube in a winter takes it all game. We reached 50m monthly unique users at our peak.
  • Create AppCoin at 2012 - Community Currencies and Marketplaces - was quite popular in israel
  • Create Bancor at 2017 - Broke the crowdfunding world record at the time, receiving $153m from supporters of the non-profit protocol, which was the first service in the DeFi (Decentralized Finance) category, and the “Liquidity Pool” concept that we invented is used to trade hundreds of millions in (USD) volume every day.

I’ve also been a hardcore fan of TD on Reddit since the republican primary days (remember when there were 17 contenders!) and learned so much from you guys to allow me to become a special tech and data advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his recent campaign, focusing on social media and data processing. He spontaneously thanked my colleagues and me in the victory speech, something that actually produced some questionable PR about us, appealing to the cucks of our Silicon Valley style tech industry.

The solution for growing TD is simple. It needs to use a public datastore. Just like the internet is a public computer network that anyone can send data to and receive data from - public data stores (AKA blockchain technology) enable anyone to record timestamped data, and read all the data ever recorded.

If the data is recorded on a public data store then

  • Anyone can implement software that extends the message board (search, recommendations, new interface, native apps, follow, personal feed, wiki, etc.)
  • No one can ever take it off line - as it is replicated on hundreds of machines in dozens of jurisdictions.
  • Censorship is “distributed” - Anyone can easily set up a gateway to the network, and censor whatever they deem should be censored. End-users have a choice of gateway - similar to the email network.

The cherry on the top is that transferring value becomes a possibility as well, creating the possibility to financially support the pedes and keeping it sustainable.

We are a team of developers and designers here in Israel, and we are VERY experienced with this technology. We are offering to utilize our resources to make TD the place from which we took over the largest monopolies in the world by storm - just like a small organic movement, open-source software, did to the past monopoly of Bill Gates.

I think the solution for the is using a system that utilized a public data store. I expand on this point here

BTW, If TD was utilizing public data stores, anyone could have implemented a search! I expanded on it here in an earlier reply to a comment above

the proper way to do it is simply to utilize a public data store (aka blockchain technology). A technology which after a decade became quite mature and cost effective.

The problem with the platform monopolies like Reddit/FB/Twitter is structural. They all use private databases that only they can access. The alternative, TD.win style islands, suffer from a lack of network effect and therefore the big guys have a critical advantage.

Public data stores solve it! Anyone can write, and anyone can read. So the islands can interoperate in a seamless way for the end user, and generate a network effect, in a similar way email does.

From all the online services we use every day, the only one that can be described as a public online service - is email. Everything else is proprietary crap. You can access the email network from many different domains - but they all form a single, interconnected network.

Email barely survived due to spam and fishing, exactly because it did NOT utilize a public data store (simply since the technology didn't exist at the time). If it did, every email address would become a public profile, and there probably wouldn't be a facebook today, at least not in its current devilish form.

Having public data stores that can be accessed from any number of domains also solves the censorship problem - because every site can have its own content policy, and users can choose, or migrate, between sites.

I believe that the future of online discourse and social media would be purely based on public data stores. It also offers the advantage of being able to transfer dollars as easy as it is transfer bits - which is key for creating sustainable gateways.

Why should you believe me? I was the founder of Metacafe (was 2nd to YT) and I've been in the blockchain space full time since 2011, built Bancor, and currently working on deweb.io

The opposition asshole, yair lapid, congratulated him explicitly as president elect , as other israelibtards did.

I bet bibi purposefully refrained from that language and settled for a generic congratulations (maybe commencing him for managing to keep breathing for so long, who knows ;)

I'm from Israel and I personally know Bibi and even had the pleasure to assist him in the last campaign. I can assure you he is on the right side. He was getting hammered here in Israel for not congratulating Joe Biden while all other world leader have.

Notice that he did not congratulate Biden for winning or for being the next president. He has been working with him professionally in the past and will continue to work with him since he is a pro. Not to mention that if the courts betray us and let Biden become the POTUS, Bibi wouldn't want to suffer a retribution that would probably affect all Israelis. I wouldn't be surprised if he pinged Trump right before that, explained that he must do it, and kept the wording vague (he could be congratulating him just for the "momentum" even if not final.)

We cannot always expect world leaders to jump into the rabbit hole with us.
