Correct, the alternate slate of electors is null and void after the 6th. They aren't even certified now so they don't mean anything even on the 6th, yet.
The constitution only mentions the 20th yeah, but it doesn't speak one way or the other about what can happen prior. I'm sure some of the US Code does but I can't find much solid, clear information.
Maybe something can happen after the 6th, but the way I understand it is then Harris would take over on the 20th until Congress can decide who is President, and I don't know that Trump would be a candidate at that point.
Yea this is something that people who keep referencing Bush v Gore fail to understand. Bush was always ahead in the vote. The lawsuit was about counting ballots that were questionable. In the all SC did was say stop recounting the votes.
Trump has always been behind and in multiple states here. As you said, it would require a judge going on record to count already counted votes. Yes we all know they're fraudulent votes, doesn't matter. No judge will do that.

Not quite.
The first part is correct. If there is an objection by a by a congressmen or senator, and the objection is seconded by someone in the other chamber, than it triggers up to 2 hours debate by the 2 houses separately.
After this, both chambers vote independently on whether the objection stands or not. For the objection to stand, it MUST PASS BOTH chambers. This means both senate AND house must majority vote in favor. If either chamber votes it down, it fails.
The senate voting for VP thing is later if no candidate reaches 270, which first requires the objections in enough states to stand.
Unfortunately this is VERY likely dead on arrival, as multiple republican senators have spoken out against this. Even Mitch has spoken out against it. We simply don't have enough non cucked out RINO senators to get this to pass.
