Me too. Had the country really chosen Biden (as I believe they did Obama) I'd be like "Okay, death to America, then, because our people are no longer worth saving." That was how I felt during the Obama administration. Actually, Trump raising my hopes has made this harder. I had come to accept that Americans were no longer pioneers and pilgrims, and were just a bunch of Europhiles, shallow-end celebrity-worshippers, and drug-addled inner-city criminals. I felt honored to have lived when America was great, once, and sad to watch the decline, but I thought our people were so corrupted and detestable that it was inevitable. Trump made me realize how many wholesome, Patriotic Americans still existed. So yeah, watching us all be corralled into the slaughterhouse is hard to take.

The public schools talk a good game, but they really don't provide QUALITY sports, clubs, or STEM. Seriously, a lot of those clubs are just "gather in the History teacher's room twice a month for 25 minutes with at lunch and talk a little about goals for French club" or whatever. It's majorly lame.
If you really want to have fun, tell them in the most concerned-liberal voice you can fake, "I really want her to read about women who DIDN'T use their sexuality to get financial and career advantages."
Me too, 2004-2020. I taught in majority Hispanic schools, and there'd always be 3-4 black kids whose parents had done everything they could to get their kids out of their local (black) school and into the majority Hispanic school. Critical theory is anti white/Asian, pro-black, and as for Latinos... it depends. Latinos will find themselves having to choose a side pretty soon, and what they don't realize is blacks are eager to kick them out, and whites are willing to accept them. Blacks will eventually isolate themselves this way, but it will take a while.
But yeah, meanwhile, if you're white or Asian, get the fuck out of there.
What it means is if three black kids beat the shit out of your white kid in the bathroom, your white kid will be charged with a hate crime if he reports it. Get your kid out of that school if you can.

We could have protested in the streets all day, every day, and it wouldn't have helped. Our actions had no effect on anyone important. Our only chance was doing something dramatic and frankly unpopular that actually affects everyone, like clogging up and shutting down the entrances and terminals of all the major airports for a week or two. And the time to do that, looking back, was before Dec 6.
