All of NYC is a shithole. Thats from someone with 13 years here that keeps an apartment so they dont need to change anything on their professional licenses and does 2 weeks every month to see his sales team. My wife and I are in a different part of the state due to her doctoral program. She grew up here and dislikes it now that shes been exposed to life elsewhere. When you have junkies passed out in affluent areas and homeless everywhere you know there is a problem. Most hotels have now turned into homeless shelters too. The hotel on w 29th between 6th and 7th ave is now fully converted into a homeless shelter... thats 5 blocks from herald square and a very well known tourist area.
Someone should tell the dude leading that protest that San Bernardino is basically a suburb..... one thats ghetto as fuck but still a suburb. Also, Mexicans outnumber blacks by a wide margin there so the fact theyre deciding to punch random Mexican women isnt going to go over well for them.
That looks like fun. I remember going to camp and at the end there was always a rodeo we put on for the parents on the last day. One year I was still light enough to go mutton busting and it was a hell of a time. Figure something like this would be similar.
So many businesses shuttered. I do a lot of cold calling businesses in nyc/nys for one of my businesses and the amount of business owners telling me they are closing or my call only ringing/hitting voicemail is why I started another business that specializes in roast to order coffee. I still cold call in the first half of every day but something has to change because people's lives depend on getting back to prepandemic employment
I came back to add that the state should allow Prado Dam and its mural to be completely restored. Know various volunteer groups wanted to do it before I left for college and a lot of the people that originally painted it in 1976 want to help repaint it. Every time I go home to visit my parents and see it get a little worse and get sadder each time. The fact the inland empire was booming before the recession and still hasnt gotten back to those levels hurts
Youre missing the forest for the trees. There is no such ordinance is what I was saying. The people who own that land usually use it for grazing and will not allow billboard to be put up... additionally most of the people who live on those hills or own those parcels of land have fuck you money so they dont need to lease space on their land to advertising companies.
The lack of other signage and billboards is due to the fact horses and occasionally cattle graze on those hills. Also there are tons of billboards along the 91 about a mile east. I knew this freeway very well and still drive it every time I am in California. Riverside County is based
About time but I had to laugh at the sentence that says "Kyle had no choice but to fire multiple rounds towards his immediate attackers, striking two, including one armed attacker" because my first thought was that the attacker does only have one arm now.
Lmfao every person I speak to hates the ACA or obamacare. I design union and corporate benefits plans when not fulfilling coffee orders and that includes enrolling members and employees into their plan. The most common complaint is that prices rose exponentially since the mandate and that there is no true choice in selecting a plan unless theyre big enough and self-fund. Nothing worse than meeting a small business owner that just hit 50 employees and is now on the hook for close to half a million dollars that they dont have. Its not uncommon for the business owner to break down in the meeting because they already sacrificed to get to that point and have other overhead and usually a family they need to take care of.
I was giving a statement to the nypd a month ago regarding a car accident and my wife texted me, her text tone is our awesome president saying "Make America Great Again" both cops stopped what they were doing to comment on how much they liked the ringtone. It was a white cop and a dominican cop. There is a lot of stealth Trump support in the boroughs.
