Lmfao every person I speak to hates the ACA or obamacare. I design union and corporate benefits plans when not fulfilling coffee orders and that includes enrolling members and employees into their plan. The most common complaint is that prices rose exponentially since the mandate and that there is no true choice in selecting a plan unless theyre big enough and self-fund. Nothing worse than meeting a small business owner that just hit 50 employees and is now on the hook for close to half a million dollars that they dont have. Its not uncommon for the business owner to break down in the meeting because they already sacrificed to get to that point and have other overhead and usually a family they need to take care of.
Went to California last week for my older brothers wedding. Tons of Trump signs and American flags in my hometown and almost every home in my brothers neighborhood had a Trump flag. Most surprising part of the wedding was when one of our hippy aunts apparently told a cousin that we were in MAGA country and couldnt be happier. Southern California will most likely go red but its also well known to Californians that Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Orange County are more conservative. Its why most people there were excited about breaking up the state as it force LA out and makes them deal with their own mess.
I spent 2 days in the Amsterdam PD/FD station for work and let me tell you that place is pretty ghetto. Heard it used to be extremely wealthy but industry left upstate NY and killed that city. Not surprised this happened there. The police were cool and all laughed at the fact I brought in donuts to draw them over and try to sell them things. They also told me the hotel I was staying in that night I should expect problems (yes it was a write off but I am fine being cheap if its just me) and told me a good place to buy beer.
I am not that familiar with Erie since I grew up in socal and ended up in nyc on an athletic scholarship. My wife is in a doctorate program out here so we are learning the area. I know brooklyn/nyc a lot better though I like this part of NY more.
Ahhh got it. I have watched a few of their videos and am making an assumption based on appearance. They source great green beans and all my roasting equipment was purchased from them. Was genuinely curious and I agree, they don't seem to be pushing their politics.
How did Sweet Marias get on this list? I ask because I order bulk green beans from them on their Coffee Shrub site for my small roasting company. I also use Burman Traders, Copan Trade, and direct source from growers. The people at SM seem great, but I also have a feeling they might not have the same political views as the people who come to this dom. I dont know their actual views, but that is the vibe I get from their appearance, though they do give good service.

When I was flying across the country this last weekend I flew what is in my opinion the best airline, Southwest, and people were boarding with Trump 2020 masks. It was glorious and the fact all airlines have cut amenities puts Southwest at the head of the pack in my opinion.
When my wife and I were driving from NYC (visiting her parents) to wny where she is in a doctoral/mba program we took the nys thruway and stopped for gas upstate. The station had a sign on the door that they will be fined what is a lot of money for the area if they dont enforce the mandate. Wore a mask for them but everyone else gets my mask hanging from my ears but not on.
I know. I try to tell my clients employees this and then I tell them what I pay for me and my wife with a $3000 deductible since I am self employed which which makes them understand a bit more.
