This is just my opinion. I think social media as a whole is a blight on society. There is no more social discourse. We've been forced into echo chambers within echo chambers where viewpoints and opinions are throttled not amplified. The entire concept has pushed everyone involved into an us versus them mentality where civility no longer exists. In the end I can only see this leading to even more violent behavior.

This is my problem with WhatsApp. All my friends, family and coworkers have it. I learnt the best you can do is to spend as little time as possible on the websites and apps you cannot delete.
