I think we're going to have to agree to disagree. If the Democrats have a convenient fall guy in a Commander in Chief who is suffering Dementia, then they will use them.

Losing large numbers of civilians who 'knew they were in a dangerous country' is much less of a concern to them than the potential collapse of the Democrat power structure if the general public is convinced that they really did steal a Presidential election.

Real voting reforms would certainly happen then, which would likely make future cheating damn near impossible.

It's like taking a stiff right hook to the chin compared to terminal cancer.

The military uses a LOT of civilian contractors. I do not know the numbers for Afghanistan, but hundreds is plausible and more than a thousand is possible.

There are also likely some spouses of service members there as well.

Every store is different, but if you try to order right at opening or closing, yeah, you might get grumpy employees or poor (poorer?) quality food. It's the same at every low cost food joint.

I think you underestimate his weight by at least 100 lbs. He's too big to fit in phone pictures taken of him from five feet away.

You actually think the Democrats care about Biden? They will throw him under the bus with zero hesitation since they can do so by declaring him incompetent, then pardoning him. Remember that Ford pardoned Nixon, and Nixon was not mentally incompetent.

We might prove that the election was fraudulent, but I doubt that the Presidency will change hands until the next election. Too many RINOS will be afraid to come out that strongly against their Democrat overlords.

Like I said in response to another comment. The easy solution to this is for Congress to declare Biden incompetent, impeach him, then Harris can pardon him.

No. Biden is incompetent. His handlers are not. If this goes hard against him, they vote him out of office and he goes back to his house and retires.

It's a good plan, but it's a long way to go to make it happen because the Democrats will fight it every step of the way.

No, they are not. Trump is actually a old school liberal. The Democrats have gone so far left that many old school liberals refuse to associate with them any longer. I am also an old school liberal, and I share a hell of a lot more with conservatives than Leftists.

No, I was basing my statements on science that was not as accurate as I thought it was.

You see, I can learn. That's what adults do when confronted or challenged, if they find strong data that they were either mistaken about something or less accurate than they would like.

He lived in his basement during the election. He wants to go back.

My knowledge was based on actual science performed years ago.

https://www.history.com/news/study-suggests-adolf-hitler-had-jewish-and-african-ancestors

Apparently the genetic analysis isn't as clear as I was led to believe.

So, I will correct my statement.

Hitler may have had both Jewish and African ancestors.

Agreed. One of the things Leftists are very good at is redefining words. They like to take words and phrases that have good connotations and apply them to themselves, or words with bad connotations and apply them to their enemies.

'Liberal', 'Dreamer', 'Progressive' are examples of words with good connotations that Leftists have been working to commandeer.

For examples of the latter, see 'racism', 'bigot', and 'Nazi / fascist.'

It's called associative conditioning and it works against a large % of people, unless actively opposed.

Farmerbob1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ehhh. No. Do not confuse Liberals with Leftists.

Liberals want more freedoms for everyone.

Leftists want to take freedoms from those who do not agree with them.

Some of us do understand history better than you. We know that the Nazis were the problem, not the Jews.

Sure, some Jews are bad people. Hitler was a Jew, for example, but hating an entire group based on what a few people do is pretty damn ignorant.

There is no excuse for this. If we need to, send a couple battalions in to retrieve our citizens.

It will be a fine battlefield test of our readiness to see if we can deploy two battalions halfway across the world in a day.

Digging down more than a mile or so is far from trivial. The deeper you go, the worse it gets.

Space is different. Once you can get into space and establish a fueling facility on Ceres, the engineering problem ceases to be a problem.

The Kola Bore Hole was about 8 miles deep. It is the deepest hole we've ever dug. The temperature that far down the Kola Bore was 370 F.

The Earth only gets hotter as you go farther down. Eventually the pressure and temperature allow the rock to flow like clay even if it's not technically a liquid.

Back when most problems between people were solved with stout sticks or slung rocks, women were probably much safer if they were quiet.

For the same reason men pretending to be women are screwing up women's sports. Men are simply much better on average at fighting and physical conflict.

That doesn't make men better at governing. It makes them better at beating other people in fights with crude weapons.

There is a place you can go where women are treated as badly as biblical women were treated.

Go live in Afghanistan.

We think the asteroid belt is whet is left of a rocky planet destroyed by Jupiter's gravity and the Sun's gravity after it cooled and became solid. It would be very surprising if we couldn't find everything mineral there that we can find on Earth, other than stuff made from organic matter like coal and oil.

The engineering problem to mine the asteroid belt is an easier one than super-deep mining on Earth.
