I sincerely sympathize with you. Life is learning, some lessons are painful. Since you know you were confrontational, have you been working on yourself to be less so? If you have, it might be time to branch out and start looking for new friends that you might have things in common with. It's not easy. If you have hobbies, you might be able to find groups that meet regularly with your hobby in common. That can be used to branch out into more friendly interactions, which could potentially lead to friendship developing.

If you don't have hobbies, you'll want to find one, even if it's just reading self-help books.

I agree! He's doing another tomorrow and a third next week. The one tomorrow is with his grandmother regarding her escape from Cuba and how Bernie is SO wrong. Next week was a tease, don't know what that one's about except that it's a completely different topic.

I'm interested in everyone's thoughts, is he correct? After the post regarding the top D contenders, it's hard to think otherwise.

I just wonder how negative the post karma got. I down arrowed and it displayed -1, but while my arrow stayed blue, the number reset to 0. I figure it did for everyone else as well.

I've been thinking about emailing Rush and requesting a domain name drop. Whether he would or not who knows, but asking can't hurt and really it only takes one.

You’re not the only one. Weird Al has a song “Everything you know is Wrong” and I feel like that right now. Especially when Ted Cruz just said the Republicans are now the party for the American Worker.

My mind has been blown a little, not going to lie. But this place (and TD before it) remind me I’m not alone, and neither are you.

Shame on her for her racism.

Give it a couple more years. I'm sure he'll be urged to reconsider his opinion by the right (or wrong) people.

Doesn’t this post say our mods restricted new posts because they’re unable to sufficiently moderate?

Getting my hopes up, ah well. Waiting til November is hard.

I couldn't even get a first warning, and I was trying! I was here when the site first opened anyways. Floated between a bit, now mostly here.

Some want to hold the line and not give in to the communists. While I understand the reasoning, there is literally nothing we can do to prevent what they're doing to the site. The admins there have all the power

What are we at? 16 more to flip the House?

All that matters to the never trumpers is how it looks. Honestly, this feels like we never left high school. How things and people look is more important than reality and truth. They'd rather have a schmuck like Obama who reads well off a teleprompter than someone a bit rough around the edges, like Trump.

Half the mods are demodded and will be replaced by reddit admin approved mods. It’s lost

2
Femprep 2 points ago +2 / -0

And of course news of what happened to the mods is being squelched. I think I'll stick around there and push the info as much as I can before (assuming here) getting banned. Edit: Or I missed the most recent sticky.

That's what I'm thinking. I was in the hold-out camp until I saw the news about what they're doing to the TD mods. That changes the entire game and TD is lost. Rather than close it down, they'll alter it, change it, first kinda Fox News, then the slow slide to the left.

Reddit admins removed half TD mods and installed their own.

And yet, no matter what I do I can't seem to even get the first warning. It's the weirdest thing. My IP isn't out of the US though, maybe it makes a difference? Still a voter, still have family/friends living in the US, dunno what delusions they have.

Mitch left them. It's one of the best things he's ever done. Any Democrat dominated senate would've pushed through Obama's supreme court nominee and filled all the court positions before Obama left office.

He surely wouldn't pay people to sit in, and vocally support him.

I'm trying to figure out how to drop this one on my Bernie supporting sister. As a victim herself she'd be appalled, but because she's a victim and my sister I'd rather not push her into a bad headspace. Probably have to pass and makes me sad.

A reminder from Bernie that we all need to get out and vote this November. Impossible until it happens - the Bernie presidency.
