I’d still say no and I’m from California. They got themselves into crazy amounts of pension debt that Forbes has estimated at $1trillion. These concessions are still nowhere near enough.

Lol I loved next gen and original, and my first thought was also “wait doesn’t that resemble..” but I wouldn’t consider myself a hardcore convention attending fan of the genre so I think it’s awesome.

I had a different fear, and it’s popped up again. I work in a grocery store. When the initial panic hit and the shelves were absolutely empty, I’d have to mentally reign myself n from buying everything I didn’t need. I had quietly stocked a bit extras, rice, canned sauces, etc., so I was fine for food, but being constantly surrounded by the effects of the panic I would second guess myself constantly.

So it’s happening again with the lockdown. Even with restrictions easing there are still people terrified of going outside! Wearing masks outside! TF is wrong with people?! And again being surrounded by the crazy has me second guessing myself. I’m staying the course but I’m starting to feel crazy.

I questioned this. If we found something, would we really have broadcast it world wide? Sceptical, right here.

I wonder about people who say America is bad. I watched Candace Owens the other day and one of her favourite rebuttals in relation to America is the devil built on slavery “ok, where would you rather live, and when are you moving?” What country is the shining example of what they want the US to be or follow? There isn’t anyplace better. There is nothing stopping an American from moving to another country, I feel like we get an easy approval stamp just based on country of origin. Even Canada and Australia that get held up so often have serious first amendment (and in Australia, 2nd amendment) deterrents. We are so spoiled in the US that we don’t notice all the downsides in other countries and only see the shining examples the MSM sheds light on.

It’s because they work opposite to the way people think they do. It’s to prevent the wearer from spreading any disease they might have, not to prevent the wearer from getting the disease.

Disclaimer: I understand this depends on the mask type, and I’m specifically talking about the ones stereotypically seen in hospitals(not the n95s).

Ironically my previously libertarian friends are now gung ho on the authoritarian dictatorship train. I’m just baffled at how they’ve dumped their previously held beliefs in the dirt because of something the media massively overhyped.

Except everyone here knows google is not your friend, so that’s not an acceptable answer!

They stopped travel from Wuhan nearly two months after it had already been out. They let people travel to and from Wuhan for their New Years festival at the end of January.

I know it’s a thing, but I still don’t know why it’s a thing (and I’d like to keep it that way).

They’ll install the hand sanitizer dispensers and then they’ll be empty 100% of the time, so useless waste of $ in pure California fashion.

Two counties have already begun defying Newsom’s edict and begun the process of reopening their businesses. (Sutter and Yuba) And those are just ones I’ve heard about, probably more. More are petitioning to be allowed to reopen. It’s LA and SF that swing CA so far left.

While I would love to believe CA cares about small business, the fact the state essentially legalized $900 in theft makes me think “no, they don’t give a shit”.

My sister has suicidal depression at times but she’s trying to manage without meds. One of the methods that helped was holding down a job. She no longer has a job and is forced to sit at home (which makes it even worse) and her depression is spiraling, plus therapists aren’t considered “essential” so she can’t get in to see her. Not in a good place, and so many that I would have thought would see into the ramifications of what’s being done to our freedoms are posting more deplorable memes about the people protesting for their rights. I’m baffled, well and truely.

I kind of think the end goal is to beat DJT in November and use these restrictive measures as the starting line for the real slide into authoritarian state.

I was going to take my kids to a super tiny local playground recently and my husband told me not to because people will snitch. I’m just sitting here thinking if there’s nobody else using it and we hand sanitize before and after, who does it hurt?!

I don’t have to become an activist because I’m out of the US for the moment, but I stay informed because I vote and try to red pill friends and family that are still there. If I was there, I can see myself getting involved in ways I never would’ve considered years ago. Changing California would be extremely difficult,if not impossible because of current laws that make things easy for the Democrats. Republicans would need to unite behind one or two candidates to even get them on the ballot, but when they’ve got 10 on the primary ballot it spreads out the votes so none of them make the general.

Fuck Maher. He wanted a recession to prevent Trump’s re-election. He’s probably dancing in private glee that his recession has probably come.
