I was tin foil hat speculating and came up with a theory that as this virus mainly targets elderly (any child deaths so far?) that China could have done this on purpose to kill off their non productive portion of the population and maybe allow them to relax the child restrictions. Would give them younger population which would help if they were wanting to switch from virtual/political takeover to physical expansion.
