I just wanted to say I’m very sorry. I understand the value he brought to your life. Right now my cat is curled up under my arm. She’s getting on in years. This small animal has been the one rock solid, reliable presence in my life for well over a decade. She once lived cooped up in Europe when work took me there and didn’t complain, even as she prefers to hunt for her food in the woods on our farm. She’s healed me through bad times and brought so many joyous memories. I desperately love her. And you ought to feel proud of the love you gave yours.
