I agree. In the past, you may have noticed I'm a simulationist, when I read Nick Bostrums paper one line struck out to me and made me question my beliefs. The line goes the percentage of civilizations that reach multi-world or interstellar travel is pretty much 0. At some point either they kill themselves or a planet extinction event happens. While mankind is fighting war over land, religion, political ideology, there's a whole universe to explore. Sure you can throw out the simulation stuff but that one line opened my eyes. We need to put our petty difference aside and focus on one objective. Now you might say well that sounds like comunism or globalism. I'm far from that. I'm not unlike Elon Musk. Now's the time to prepare, drop all the petty tribalism of millennia. And move towards one goal
I'm not atheist per say but, I understand what the Bible is. It's a collection of stories, gathered across thousands of years and previous Civilizations. Some might be true some might not. Men wrote those books and men are fallible. Men seek to control other men too. Millions of people have died for what amounts to historical fiction. That's applies to all 3 religions. You can have a sense of morality without subscribing to some Sky God. It's the difference between knowing what's right and and what's wrong. These books help but don't take them for their word. Understand the times and places they were written for. I know this post will be downvoted but you need to question your beliefs and what you have been told before you hit that downbutton.
Heres a story for you. My friend who was 84, had kidney problems, had pneumonia in recent years, had 3 major falls, had 2 strokes. He was hanging on by a thread. He was going to die at some point in the near future. He got the flu and had a stroke, never recovered and died. He died in April but was ruled he died from covid. All those other illnesses led to his death. Covid19 wasn't even in his system. Your grandparents are going to die plain and simple no matter what you do.

There was 2 instances when the lost me. First its was when they said it stays on surfaces. 2 months later they said it doesnt. 2nd one was masks were meaningless it wouldn't stop it. I was like hold on everyone was wearing masks and still getting it. CV19 IS part of the coronavirius are they just testing for the Coronaviris or CV19. Makes ya think.
