That goes for the police, active and veteran military, government officials, teachers, doctors, nurses, etc. if we just all revere them without questioning actions and motives, then we open ourselves up to being played by the system that will capitalize on this abject reverence to force tyranny by these actors. This is not to say all of these professions are bad, or everyone is bad, but we need to be American in that we judge the individual by their actions, deed and thought, not worship at the altar of hero worship.
