And can I just say - how cool does she dress as a congress woman? I'm proud of her and our district. We are solid red and sick of the crap that Atlanta is pulling.

We have two and one just moved back after being far away. The other is far away too. We rarely get to see her.
I get that being blamed for their choices. I guess they have to lash out when their anger surfaces.
But they do start coming back. My husband is better at this than me. He says to offer unconditional love and acceptance. When they call, he's good at just listening and not offering advice unless asked. We have let natural consequences hit them and that can be tough to watch.
He encourages me to do mom things like send care packages with warm fuzzy socks (not cold hard cash LOL). I just got the sweetest note after sending slippers to the one moving further away.
Parenting is hard. It seems harder when they are grown. I'm spending a lot of time on my knees. It's the only other thing I can do and thankfully, it works. Slowly - but it works.

Serious question - how do we confirm? The vote is in one of those QR codes (hope I said that right). I had the same thought when I voted in November but our country swept red (north Georgia pede who is voting at 5 this evening).
It bugs me that I vote, the ballot prints but I have no idea what's in the QR. Isn't that what actually scans and "counts"?
It also bugs me that I keep getting texts saying "you haven't voted yet". How did they know?
