I think that was their traveling show which was shortened by questions like this and poor attendance.

I wonder if they ever called the previous administration the Soetoro administration.

They aren't dems or republicans, they are a political class with maybe a 1% group of fair minded legislators. It is the people against the politicians.

We were talking about this exact thing this morning in NYC. The Assembly abdicated its authority and went home leaving Cuomo in complete control of everything. He was and is a petty tyrant. He assigned the liquor authority to police businesses. They are taking delight in shutting down restaurant after restaurant for reasons such as a person stood up, mask on and walked to another table with their drink in hand to say hi to someone. Or a group completed their meal and the table was bussed but the group stayed to finish their drinks. There appears to be no recourse at all. I wish someone had an idea because I don't.

Yep, crazy town. I read that Victoria is locked up like a prison. WTF is that about?

Steve Bannon famously said "If you think they will give you your country back without a fight you are mistaken".

Where are the water cannons or noise cannons? They won't stop unless made to stop.

I hope they do strike. It will be one more nail in the coffin of the DOE. Kids aren't becoming infected and aren't vectors of infection. People should be taking the education of their children back into their own hands.

Dinkins was very much like Wilhelm and the people voted for Guiliani. Now Curtis Swila of Guardian Angels fame is running for mayor and I think the city is ready for some discipline.

DeBlasio pays a property tax rate increase of 1.2% in Brooklyn while Queens residents pay a 6% property tax increase annually.
I think he believes that if he destroys the city the feds will pick up the tab.

This is excellent news. We, because I live in NYC, will lose nothing but roadwork that isn't done and schools that don't teach but over time maybe we can reclaim the city.

I'm a NYC resident. I hope we lose electoral votes, Senate seats and bagels. We are a pox on the country.

We have about a dozen restaurants in my neighborhood with another 5 or 6 bars. Last night all were set to shut down at 8pm and only do take out going forward. I'm happy to report that the old school NYers are having none of it. Lights went off at 8pm and the doors were closed but...and who is to say you can't have a drink while you wait for your take out? It is a logistical challenge that NY is up to. This bullshit and arbitrary closure must be fought on every level. And...mass transit is up and running so it is all bullshit.

Boomers are the last generation to have large families. X and Y and Z and whomever have a cat. You aren't motivated without a family and you only think of yourself. Have kids, it will fix a lot of problems.

Vaccinology is a thing. It is the development of vaccine. Although a govt front man for many years, he is very smart and very competent as a scientist.
The fact that he is apeing for the cameras is just a necessary part of the job. Vaccines are dangeous and shouldn't be used for any diseases which don't include death for everyone in the description.
