This, 100%. I went to three separate stores in my area just over the past couple days, and there was no increase in the number of empty shelves over what it's been like the past 3 years or so.

Are there products that are out? sure. Are they "facing" the product to minimize the appearance of shortages? yes. But it's been that way for a while now.

You mean the put it back to the lower courts to make legal, so the SCOTUS isn't seen for the sham that it is.

Great.

Just curious here.. how many of these empty shelves in supermarkets stories are coming out of cities where it is all but completely legal to shoplift now?

In Texas, I half expected the stickers to be put on by the station owners.

Why buy when shoplifting is no longer illegal?

Nike using child slave labor is an issue that has been known for decades.

The fact that they are still in business and haven't changed their ways shows our republic was in deep trouble a long time ago.

Yes, this is about nationalization of police forces. More specifically it is about removing the social element of police officers patrolling areas in which they and their families live. It's about replacing the local sheriff with a "just following orders" goon from some foreign country who will follow whatever commands they tell them.

I want Democracy to die too. It's merely a gateway to communism.

That's why America was formed as a constitutional republic.

I believe society has taken this on and it has mutated perhaps even further.

People are desperate to be reassured that what they believe is true, but at the same time, as governments fail, etc., there are people who are latching on to any truth but the one shared by said governments.

This is why we see the proliferation of people ardently following various belief systems. I'd heard a lot of odd beliefs in my life, but the group that rabidly believes we are all prisoners in a giant computer simulation ... didn't really exist until after "The Matrix" came out.

People want to believe that their truth is the real truth, and they retreat to internet echo chambers for reassurance that they're one of the enlightened.

The truth is under attack like never before. Massive amounts of money and time have been poured into a movement to obfuscate, blur, re-organize, change, rewrite, and outright destroy anything that could be labeled as truth.

On today's internet, specifically sites like reddit, you can make a statement about a particular belief and almost guarantee that within a few days there will be someone stating the opposite belief, no matter how absurd your original statement. Even today, there are people arguing in support of eating insects as a primary source of food in exchange for getting rid of meat, etc. If you were to post something absurd like "I believe it is unhealthy to eat things that have previously been eaten and then pooped out by animals", you'll run into the people that know about the special coffee beans that made the news several years ago, etc.

This is all part of keeping people confused, scared, and controlled. People want reassurance that what they believe is the truth, but are constantly thrown into doubt.

We need an epidemic of commies "falling" out of helicopters

Not any more.

A very large majority of the liberals that moved out of CA in the past 6 years have moved to AZ.

Phoenix is now the 5th largest city in the US, primarily because of the influx from CA and all the "undocumented immigrants".

If we don't fix 2020, AZ and several other states are going to go full blue, and will never come back.

Perhaps they do.

Or..

Perhaps through the manipulation of all media and the internet, each side (left and right) both have the same level of delusion because we don't want to, as a whole, wake up and realize it's all theater run by a single party.
