I am a right wing teacher, and in Texas. I can tell you we are in the vast minority. The shit I've heard other teachers preach is nuts. I've had conservative students in rages and tears after leaving those classes and coming to see me. And that's with me not pushing an actual political agenda; just personal responsibility, honesty, and work ethic. I guess the kids know when their own ideas are stated back to them.
