If you're worried about being "pushed up a few brackets" for $600 weekly checks there's no chance we're talking about itemization or self-employment. Nice try though.

You've still got time to try and deceptively edit your way out!

The implication is at best ambiguous, and the wording "pushed up a few brackets" for potentially 3 months of $600 weekly checks supports a misunderstanding of the tax code; let alone your own erroneous claim and misunderstanding of what constitutes a straw man.

...bud.

That's not a straw man. You seem to be confused.

Yeah, the unintended consequence of having more money. For doing nothing.

How risky. Better watch those brackets!

note that ALL these $600 stimulus checks are TAXABLE AS INCOME and many people will be pushed up a few brackets by taking them

$600 isn't going to get you "pushed up a few brackets" even if you took it for weeks on end. The gap between brackets is too large.

I also posted an explanation above as to how tax brackets operate at levels, not a sum total of your income. Going "up a bracket" only affects the money above that bracket limit.

EDIT: Dude, if you're going to ask a question and then edit your comment at least be forthright about it. Bottom kek.

The level to which public schooling failed people blows my fucking mind, man.

The portion above the bracket limit is taxed at the higher amount. The portion below the bracket limit is taxed at the lower amount.

In other words, if someone gets an extra $600, $500 of which is "above their bracket", only that $500 is taxed at the higher bracket amount.

...so why the downvotes?

Brackets don't work like that.

EDIT: If you guys think your income is taxed fully at the higher bracket level if you "go up a bracket" you really need to check out how taxes work. Here's a good explanation:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tips/irs-tax-return/what-are-tax-brackets/amp/L8jeM6XaJ

Aside from some fringe cases applying for benefits or something there's no reason at all to be afraid of being in a "higher bracket".

I don't care if this gets traction or not. I don't have enough words to describe the hatred and vitriol I have for this "movement".

The sooner it dies, the better.

I liked it except for that one chapter that was INCREDIBLY long. I don't remember which rule it was, but he went into Gulags and Russia and it just dragged forever. The rest of it was pretty enjoyable.

I don't understand anything about this. He said "thighland", realized what he did, and like four seconds later repeated it as "tie-land".

It was funny. People mispronounce stuff.

The fuck is with everyone?

I would put a LOT of money that the death count would be on par with H1N1 during the same time period because there was no incentive to code deaths as H1N1 only.

This makes me laugh every time I look at it. Great job!

I've had several recruiters and my boss tell me I'm incredibly hard to find anything out about. That's the point, fuckers.

I created a shell facebook with a few pics I never use just so they can see I'm a real human. I'd advise any other folks looking for work (especially in tech) to do the same.

They do look for you, and if they can't find something they pass. Sucks, but thems the brakes.

Clearly a peaceful protester cosplaying as Mileena from Mortal Kombat.

Then the racist white supremacist cop assaulted him with lateral movement, electricity, and the white scourge of metallurgy.

THIS IS YOUR AMERICA, DRUMPFTARDS

They did the same shit in Haiti. My SO is a lactation nurse and gripes about how they got the babies hooked on formula, mom's stopped producing, then couldn't afford to continue with formula.

It really fucked over a lot of people.

MS is subject to US law and has cooperated with law enforcement.

If you don't think this is better than it being controlled by a CCP company there's not much help for you.

That's probably the biggest "chemical" explosion I've ever seen. Crazy stuff.
