The book is very, very different. The entire point in the book has nothing to do with the destruction of the human race. It is part of the plot, but not the point. It is a twist I wouldn't want to give away to those that haven't had the opportunity to read it. I do highly recommend it.

Rewatching Game of Thrones hits differently now.

We already have "breaking news stories" in local media outlets where I am about face masks being sold out and interviewing people freaking out about it.
I literally sit down with my children and when we watch rallies I try my best to help them understand we are living in the good old days right now and that they will tell their grandchildren about President Trump.
We tried to take them to a FL rally last year. I was so bummed for them, the doors were literally shut in front of us for capacity. At least they have that story to tell!
