To be honest I'm not sure. I dont want to guess and give wrong information.

I forgot about Blue Flu which is how they would do it to circumvent the laws. I looked it up its called the Taylor Law which doesn't allow police to strike.

Legally they aren't allowed to strike

Edit: Dont get me wrong I am pro-cop and wish they could. I didnt think about Blue flu! Maybe that would prove the point
