If the news is saying pipes are busting all over the city it would behoove people NOT to go to the hardware store to stand in line for an hour for pipe, fittings and glue that sold out two days ago. Especially when the roads are not treated for ice and nobody in the store is honoring social distancing in the pipe isles.

There are 3 power companies in TX. Two of them winterized their operation years ago and did not fail. The main company chose not to do because they are greedy and only care about pure profit. The board members don't even live in TX.

Windmills do indeed suck but that was not the apex of the problem as the Governor and Crenshaw claim. They should not be discussing windmills right now regardless. Only basic needs like water and plumbing and food since people are dying.

People in TX are not dumb. No dumber than people in Anchorage Alaska dealing with 110 degree heatwave for a week. They would encounter the same problems and probably worse.

There are other ways to fix busted pipes in a pinch. Radiator hose will work and can be cut to length in many sizes at auto stores. Even sprinkler parts will work on cold water pipes.

Attempt failed. In my dream I beat him over the head with a sock full of quarters that eventually broke. From there I grabbed an empty bucket of paint and beat the fucking shit out of him which I honestly did not know was possible with an empty bucket of paint but it's actually a fairly lethal weapon.

Legally. Eventually the Federal Government will authorize he shall be executed for treason. If they order me to do so I will do it without passion or prejudice. No hard feelings. It's just a duty and obligation. I have no ill will towards him. I take out the trash weekly. Never an issue and I sleep well at night knowing the next day the can is empty. Not any harder than that.

Most that actually have disposable income have already checked out of their industry. I use to love concerts. I'd pay top dollar for front row seats, meet and greets. Fuck that. Not anymore. I cancelled all movies and streaming services. Fuck them.
