They won’t. Most vote democrat, it’s sad to say. When the first Korean American was elected to Congress recently, we told our SiL, who is half Korean. He was like yea, cool!

Then we told him, (deliciously) that it was as an a Republican. He was like , wait, wut?? and just the look on his face......

We died laughing, knowing how both the kids vote. (They are young. They ARE Conservative, but just don’t know it yet😉.)

And then we got into discussion about how weird that was bc most Koreans do, in fact, vote for Democrats.

I would have to agree with everything you said. Now I understand the pinging. I, myself, have pinged a few people, sometimes for laughs, sometimes bc of their specific knowledge, sometimes bc of their post history and general knowledge of the subject. After awhile you get used to who knows what, and who is serious.

And I also agree with the duplicate posts. It’s sometime ridiculous, and I try to spend time in new to combat that and other issues. There are real karma whores here, who have been here 30 days but yet have 10000/10000 karma. All they are doing is working the system. I try to avoid them in conversations. One guy has a download bot and/stalkers following him, but he’s good.

I’ve never been into more than just passing fun and information being on here. Sometimes I have to put it down, but I’m on here way more than I should be. Research is triple hard this way, I do know that, but I’ve found workarounds, and have had help learning how to archive, pm, direct quote, etc. There is an ask.win on the sidebar. It has helped me. I guess I don’t really understand the pinging part you’re talking about. I don’t hide anything bc I may say stupid stuff, but never illegal or red flag stuff. People who do that, to me, have be insanely stupid. Or doing it on purpose to goad others or make the site look bad.

Thanks for the link. I will look at it. I have notified I miss a whole heck of a lot being on a mobile. But I also can’t sit still. I move from place to place to place. I am thinking one of those laptops might work for me. We do have other laptops, they are just bug and heavy. And other tablets, but I’m not familiar with them. I just started getting online and into forums in 2020. Before then, it was just 2016 and comment sections. So I am a total newbie

I was not, but I do think it’s helpful across comments and conversations. I’m also on mobile, bc someone is always on computer. We are super tech family, but still have just one computer. Spouse is IT, but I rarely get on on except to do printouts or something for the kids school. If he’s not on it, kid is, and anyone can be kicked off at any time if he has to work. Not worth the aggravation.

I’ve had dogs like that. Other dogs that weren’t like that. But with everyone one of them, all the black people had to do was act normal, offer hand sniff, and reach and pet the dog. But if they were frightened or I sensed that weird unease, I would remove the dog.

I never had more respect for home health people than when those black ladies would come to my dad’s dog filled house, and ignore the dogs like it wasn’t anything, (and the dogs would act like a damn fool). The nurses ended up giving updates on the dogs and asking about the dogs as much as my dad. They made themselves family.

What was really funny was taking a black kid home one day. He had been over to practice for a 50’s style dance contest. Grabbed the cat and threw it in backseat, not thinking. Maybe we were going to vet afterwards, I don’t remember why I did it. I looked in rear view mirror and kid was sitting there frozen, arms held up squeezed in fists, teeth grinding, horror on his face, almost hyperventilating. Seems he had never been up close to a cat, and the cat was sitting on his lap, looking up at him. (Remember the lizard video with the new anchor, it was almost like that.) Dear God we laughed so hard.

They won that dance contest, and kid went on to do great things, though I don’t think any of them involve cats. He’s super successful now

I thought they sent this dog back to Delaware! What’s the truth? What happened? Why was dog still at the White House?

I know I used it to a mod on GA a few days ago, in middle of a message. They replied with link I needed. I was shocked they got it and replied.

It should give them a notification just like regular notifications. Maybe they’re not answering? I don’t know

I would say, but I also just told a story on another thread about what happened to our family and another family. If I tell the state, it would be even easier to discover where and who we are. Not that it matters, but it kind of does. Hope you understand.

Please understand I don’t want to say. Thinking about it, I’ve already given enough info to say exactly where I am and who the families are, if someone did enough sleuthing. We don’t live there anymore, but still... that part of the family does.

I believe the family got the crime stoppers reward, after enough people raised hell about it bc they were going to keep it or return it. (Don’t remember which) Not sure what happened after that, or if they ever got money from the city. They may have, idk.

I do not believe they were sexually traumatized or anything like that. From what I remember, it was a long struggle though, the wife had been contained one place, the husband another. The criminal went back to the wife who was maybe in the bathroom/tub. The husband broke free and made it into the bathroom and if I’m not mistaken, killed the intruder in the bathtub itself. (Guess the wife got out or out of the way.) This was a nice area of old southern renovated homes.... so not poor people.

I bet they are still scarred to this day, have even more guns, and a state of the art security system!

That’s the question I would have asked.

What is the teacher trying to say, exactly? If you admit they are different, then you have to admit and talk about how and why they are different.

That’s natzie stuff there. I wouldn’t touch that with a 10 foot pole.

My answer would be same as the kids.

I don’t even have a clue what that means

meat sweats: smelly ammonia sweats🤢 that can ruin clothes forever unless you spend a whole day working to get it out.

And, then, only when it’s fresh.

If it sets.... throw it away, or put in outside work clothes pile.

But it’s her job to get you to eat them! If she does it right, she’ll find a few you can tolerate well!
