I see one regularly. It helps, but I feel like this might just be an ever growing problem for me. I don't want surgery unless I have absolutely no choice. Currently, my back goes out about twice a year and can completely immobilize me for up to a week. Not always, but it can.
I have recently started going to physical therapy. We'll see how that goes.
Well, it wasn't two months, It was more like 4 or 5, but yeah, I looked like a skeleton. I was 6 foot when I went into 8th grade and weighed about 110. I graduated High School at 128 and after boot camp I was 129. My brother didn't grow nearly as fast as me, but he was 6'1" and weighed less than me when he graduated a year later.
I remember my recruiter kept begging me to eat more (I was eating everything in sight). I asked him why and he told me that the Navy had a minimum weight limit of 126 for my height before we would have to file for some kind of special permission for me to go to boot camp.
My joints couldn't keep up. It hurt a lot. Spent most of that summer laying on a bed.
I have back problems. They weren't to bad in my younger days, but have continued to get worse is I age. I have an extra vertebra in my back.
This is not good idea kids. Don't do this.
I was in Panama City for Spring Break a long time ago. Stayed in a hotel and woke up the next morning to find cops crawling all over the hotel. I asked what was going on and one of the frat boys in the room above us beer bonged a fifth of vodka. He died.
If you follow the advice of this post, you could die too.
"You are not dreaming. You aren't in your bed asleep having a bad dream right now, This is real. This actually happened."
KEK
For real? I mean, I have to admit, I'm a little suspicious of that claim. That means there's 960 new posts by new users every day. I could understand if we received 960 new users a day. Hell, I could understand if we received 2000+ new users every day, but that many are actually posting every day? I don't know about that.
I grew almost 6 inches during the summer between 7th and 8th grade. I never grew another inch, but those 4 or 5 months were pretty painful and traumatic. I can only imagine what it must be like for Barron. Hey, at least his parents can buy new clothes that fit for him every month, so there's that.
These officers are going to walk free and we will have a new round of riots on our hands.
I wear mine as well, but I absolutely despise mandating auto manufacturers to include 11 air bags in their vehicles. Crash standards are THE primary reason why new car prices have shot up so significantly over the last 20 or 30 years. The price of a new car now-a-days is so fucking high that we now hand out 10 year auto loans. Ridiculous.
This whole operation was orchestrated by people who were, relatively speaking, high up in the various organizations. Everyone who knew, and everyone who commuted extra-legal acts were higher ups. Clinesmith was probably one of the lowest on the Totem Pole who knew the deal and did things for which we can prosecute, despite his high level position in the organizations. Do you want to hammer Clinesmith, or do you want to hammer Brennan, Comey, McCabe and all the rest of the masterminds? Because, I have to tell you, without the testimony of someone who was in the cabal, I don't think there's any way to get a conviction.
Doesn't hurt to call an attorney before walking inside and giving a statement, its actually strongly recommended you do have an attorney before giving a statement.
Seconded.
A lot more than 100 children are killed by drowning in backyard swimming pools every year.
While I can understand the DD laws, that's not really a safety issue, it's more of a competency issue. We don't allow people who have compromised mental skills to operate heavy equipment, much the same way we don't allow people who have Down's Syndrome to become lawyers and doctors, or children to drive vehicles on public roads that can go faster than 15mph.
Does that mean that government mandated car inspections are OK? What's safe and what's not safe? Who gets to decide those things? What if I want to drive a '80s Dodge Aries K car around the streets? Is it's poor (by today's standards) braking system acceptable, or do we all need to drive cars that can stop as fast as Porsches?
He was directed to do this and I want those that directed him to get a lot more than a slap on the wrist. I'm cool with underlings getting light sentences, but only if they rat out the guys sitting at the big desks. Also, He should lose his law license after he pleads guilty no matter how much of a light sentence he gets. I don't want him, or anyone else like him ever to be able to practice law again.
I have a question for her then; What's her stance on helmet laws and seat belt laws?
I agree that people should not be forced to wear devices that purportedly contribute to a healthier population, but it seems that most people are concentrating on masks, while dutifully donning the many other devices that are required by law.
That's a slippery slope that has been in motion for decades and now many people in America just shrug their shoulders when the government offers up a new law requiring the use of some other safety device because they have been programmed over generations to accept the government's authority in this area.
I had a huge argument with a normie coworker once about the normalization of pedophilia. He just couldn't believe it was happening, even after I showed him the pics of the trans kid who was dancing at gay bars for money. He said that was NYC and didn't apply to the rest of the country and that normal Americans would never let it happen. I told him that normal Americans (like him) don't think it's happening, so there's no push back. I also told him that ten years ago gay marriage was illegal and to look at where we are now. He dismissed all of it and called me crazy.
Well, he's going to have to eat those words sooner or later unless there's a 1776 moment in the near future. And it's people like that who are partially responsible for a 1776 moment.
Tomorrow I'm going over to my sister's house so I can talk about intersectional politics with her kids who will soon be going to college. My sister and her husband don't pay attention to the news and don't follow politics very much at all, but want their children to hear about it from me first, before they get brainwashed.
Yeah, maybe I would feel the same way if I lived in a lockdown state.
20-25%???
That seems high. When did it become standard practice to tip more than 15-20%? For that matter, I remember it wasn't too long ago that the standard used to be 10-15%. I still can't figure out when and why that changed.
This affected many other business models besides just the online gig economy. Journalists were also affected. Newspapers and magazines in Cali can't outsource more than 25 articles to a single frreelance journalist per year.
I learned something today; Not all Jarheads eat crayons. ;)
Go Navy!
THAT'S THE RACIST HAND SIGN OF FAR RIGHT WHITE SUPREMACISTS GUYS!!!!!!!!!
Also, he has to run for reelection in Nov. That's when the Cali Dem political machine will kick into cheating overdrive.
I wont do energy drinks. Had a real bad scare while on No-Doze back in the day. No thanks.
