It was a contributing factor and regardless, I don't see how anyone could watch that full footage and think the officers approach was justified when there was zero resistance and a continual pleading for air. You're going to put that much pressure on a dudes back for 9 minutes when it's clear he's struggling to get oygen and you have 3 other officers with you? Fuck that.

Pretty hard to trust anyone that he advocates for at this point. Guy has got the absolute worst track record.

How is there not a mass migration of patriots at this point? We're in this bizarre spot where we say we care about our country the most and yet we don't do anything but hope Trump will save us and post memes about the left.

The dude tried to hide the fact that he and his wife got the shot early on. His positions on the "pandemic" have been so wildly all over the place.

This is one of the most unempathetic and idiotic takes I've seen on this site. Why are there so many heartless toolbags on here?

Past actions of a person do not mean that in any way they deserve to have their life ended in such a manner. Chauvin should not be a cop.

I don't work in retail, I did as a 19 year old. They try to enforce mask rules because their employers make it mandatory because their states governors make it mandatory and they tell customers to wear masks because they want to keep their jobs. It's pretty simple to understand. I have sympathy for anyone who has to go against their principles in order to feed their kids.

If we ever get to that completely hyperbolic version of the future, I will redact my statement. If you took a nationwide poll to see how many people actually think Jesus is racist and needs to be banned, it'd be like less than 2%. I have the misfortune to live in a very liberal city and I can promise you that liberals make fun of kids like this just as much as we do.

Why give a fuck about the race of the person making it? Why not just buy from decent Americans if theey put out a solid product?

-2
FoxAintGotFriends -2 points ago +1 / -3

Yea fuck them for trying to keep their job that barely pays for their bills during a massive economic recession where millions and millions of blue collar Americans are unable to pay rent or mortgages. It's the governors commanding them and their employers to implement these policies. I assume you also think that every soldier is a coward for following orders instead of acting off what their heart tells them?

FoxAintGotFriends -2 points ago +1 / -3

Yea that's totally a fair comparison

Ok great, got me on a technicality. The vast majority of retail workers are just trying to get through their day. If you've ever worked retail you know how little fucks you give about customers. Also, they know that maskless people walking in are likely to cause interference with other customers who are "scared" by maskless people so in terms of them doing what's "best" for their store, it makes a lot of sense. Attack the people who actually initiate these policies.

Holy fuck this is the problem with hyper partisan politics these days. People get so easily triggered by some random person on Twitter or Facebook who has no audience or power whatsoever and whose opinion is not at all in line with the vast majority of Americans regardless of political party. What most people on this site get triggered by is an extremely vocal minority that has no actual representation in politics. AOC is the absolute most extreme in terms of Reps. and her little clique has no genuine influence over policy. They couldn't get any big Bernie type plans passed even in the next 10 years.

If you have such an extreme and unfounded skepticism of everything you see or have been told about, how on earth do you trust anything? It must be so exhausting thinking there's some monolithic "they" that's worked internationally for a hundred years to pull the wool over our eyes and the only people who have figured it out are small and obscure youtube channels or unverified websites hosted by people with next to no scientific literacy.

No retail employee is trying to take your rights away. They're parroting whatever they have to in order to keep their job and make ends meet. Threatening random minimum wage workers doesn't make you tough, it just makes you look like a socially inept neanderthal.

Don't send them to communities like this. If you want to show marginalized groups that right-wingers aren't all bigoted assholes, you should engage with them as much as possible from a positive standpoint and not focus on attacking their lifestyle choices.

Edit: You can see how fucked the future of this community is just based on the responses you've already gotten. This is why we're not going anywhere.

Liberals will argue that it's not a matter of whether or not they can still wear a mask, it's the fact that this mandate will cause more spreading and create an overall more highly infective population. i.e. you're still causing them greater risk even if they're wearing a mask.
