Gold does have worth as a metal with tons of uses. That definitely gives it some value, plus the supply cannot be increased on the whim of a government so it is harder to devalue.

Was a long time Bears fan (so excited for their 2006 Super Bowl appearance) and I justified watching several of their games a year up through last season because they didn't have kneeling players (that I saw). Was also a huge NBA fan. But this year I finally decided to completely unfriend those orginazations and had it not been for these posts on thedonald and another forum I go to I'd have had no idea games were back on.
