Aside from the main "said the quiet part out loud" point being made here, I find it particularly galling by the way she says, "...people are going to go out and enjoy these freedoms anyway..." like it's a bad thing - enjoying freedoms.

"If I were a bum I wouldn’t use the New York Times as bird cage liner. Wouldn’t wana piss of the bird."
I wouldn't want to wipe my ass with it - it'd be unfair to my ass.
And I agree - even the public airing of Cuomo's "indiscretions" is at least partly to distract from Cuomo's, Whitmer's, Newsome's et al. murders. Cheating and sexual harassment makes for juicy, gossip-y discussions about a real POS, but being party to murder is levels beyond POS-hood.
But, I'll say with a heavy dose of "cautiously" - after years of deploying these coordinated slander/smear tactics without any resistance, we are for the first time seeing slandered parties (I'm thinking of Trump and the historic retraction the the NY Slimes had to make regarding Project Veritas) fighting back and actually scoring hits. These are microscopic cracks in a granite mountain of smarm, but big cracks start with small cracks.
Agree. I don't think that even the anti-Trumpers or anti-Gaetz-ers really believe it. They just WANT it to be true, since these stories keep popping up about their preferred elected officials (who actually are - time and again - proven to be completely true.)
I red the story, it gets even worse: "...The child’s mother had been assaulted by smugglers in Mexico resulting in a broken leg. .."

Did she actually say "IF" in an earlier part of the thread? I'm not seeing her "IFs" here.
