Why do I keep seeing people on TDW talking about Levin like he supports Trump? Why do people cite him? His name should be banned from TDW.

Mark Levin is like most in the media: he blows with the wind. I have no idea how anyone who claims to be a pede, claims to support POTUS Trump, could support any Never-Trumper, including Mark Levin.
It's likely that Levin was PAID to support Lyin' Ted Cruz during the primaries. Whether you think he has transformed to "Lion" Ted Cruz or not, this should not sit right with you:

So I need your help: I need some stats that I can trust. I need some good articles and graphs to show my wife the truth, and not fear-mongering. She is a strong woman, but has been stressed out so much (working from home while teaching 3 kids their school's lesson plans is HARD) I get to go to my office every day then come home and play with my kids.
A problem I have is that I don't trust the CDC or WHO. And that's a problem with the 'mask' situation. During our argument, I mean our DISCUSSION, she said the "CDC is still telling everyone to wear masks in public!"
I looked it up on their website, and yes, they do. But then they say it's to prevent you from getting OTHER people sick, in case you're sick and don't know it yet. The CDC is telling people to wear masks so they don't infect others, NOT to keep themselves safe.
And the CDC, WHO, state health department, etc. are always going to mitigate their liability. They're going to err on the side of caution, and recommend more drastic measures than are likely necessary. (If not downright lie; don't get me started on that!)
Long story long, I need help convincing my wife things are OK. I need help reassuring her things are OK. A lot of this is stress she is dealing with because she is trying to work full time at home (impossible) while watching 3 kids AND teaching them (and they're all in different grades, so different homework, lessons, videos, etc.)
Thank you if you were able to stay awake and read my entire post. :) I wish TDW had a sub (dom) for text posts like this, separate from the memes and hot-off-the-press news. More of a discussion-focused area.

TL;DR I Trust Trump, was on T_D back in 2015 and have literally watched every rally he's had. So please, don't call me a concern troll. I just don't get how the MEDIA has this much 'power'.
So, I am a huge POTUS Trump supporter. The biggest. Yugest, believe me. And while I do feel like the virus is like a bad cold or the flu, the REACTION to it has been unbelieveable.
I have never seen anything like this in my life. Not even 9/11 was like this. After 9/11, we all came together. You saw American flags all over the place. People selling flags on the side of the road, even!
Now, there is some virus that looks like it is about as bad as a cold or the flu, mostly killing the very old and very sick while 99.9%+ of people recover; yet it sometimes feels like we're living in a Zombie movie.
Now, I don't wanna get too deep into 'conspiracies' like: China released it on purpose, Soros is doing this to spread socialism, or it's a democrat plot to beat Trump in the election (gimme a break; like they could execute a plan that complicated!)
I'm fully aware of those possibilities, and if any of them proved true, I would NOT be surprised in the least.
But what I think DID happen, regardless of the virus being genetically modified in a Wuhan lab or not, is that the virus got out, China did NOT contain it, and from there, the media took over and got society glued to their screens.
Absolute panic and overreaction.
I have degrees, so I'm not dumb; one of them is in economics. I run a small business. Yet I have never seen anything like this and never heard of something like this, from way back in college or in 20+ years of being in business. (Business is actually doing well right now; just not meeting clients in person. Also, lots of lame corona virus jokes.)
This is like a rush on the banks in slow motion. It's like 1929 type shit... all over a virus.
I also understand that with the stock markets and 'real' markets, CONFIDENCE is key. Once you get past critical mass, bad things can happen.
So, what I'm saying is: I can't believe, literally cannot believe, that 'we' have reacted so drastically over the coronavirus. I cannot believe that cities have shut down (Ok, liberal cities like NYC, LA, etc. make sense to shut down for several reasons, but rural cities and counties? Why???)
Schools across the country are closed, and they keep pushing back the re-open date. At this rate, my wife and I pretty much 'know' that the rest of the school year is done. Gone. Will there be summer school? Who knows?.
How the absolute FUCK did the media 'get the better of us' like this? I'm not gonna get into the Deep State Department doing this to Trump (possible, but I'll stick to what I know for sure). I believe that the USA is the greatest country in the world. I believe that with all my heart. But I feel like this whole shitstorm has shown a major weakness. I know Trump has lead very well; I mean it has show a weakness in our country -- in ourselves -- that we will overreact to stupid shit. (And by 'we' I mean the normies, not nimble navigators like us)
I can't believe that the coronavirus could shut down so much of our economy (hence why many of us feel there are other forces at play) I DON'T believe that the coronavirus did this. And I DON'T think the MSM is smart enough or influential enough to do this. (Think about Russia, Pussy-grabbing, Kavanaugh, Ukraine, etc. No matter how hard they pushed it, the MSM never 'won' by getting their narrative to stick.) And now are we supposed to believe the MSM suddenly got good at lying, and a VIRUS is the fake news story that sticks?
I'm confident, and ready. I've got food, supplies, plenty of protection for my family, my employees have whatever they need to continue on and I'm going about this as 'normal' as possible.
But every day, I think to myself "How the FUCK did so many people go so god-dang CRAZY?!?!" I used to be a cheesemaker! I used to make fucking CHEESE! Hehehe
In the end, of course we'll be fine. I don't know if the stock market will bounce back on April 12 or August 12. I don't know how quickly restaurants will open back up and when all these people who are laid off will get their jobs back. But my mind is completely blown at how this happened.
I don't need any pats on the back to cheer me up; I'm fine. I'm not 'down'; I am confused and dumbfounded as to how retarded the reaction to this has been.
And I better not get any shit for 'concern trolling'! :) I signed up on TDW with the same name as I had on T_D for years, so I'm not shilling or hiding anything.
