No problem. I come at this in good faith. As I said, I have been hardcore atheistic my entire life, but the past 5 years have opened my eyes to the issues of a secular world. I am a proponent of the 'god shaped hole' in many people - without religion, people are lost and simply joining secular religious movements. So where once I disliked religions, now I think they are incredibly important in keeping society ordered and just. But... I can not make the hop to believe myself. I can not explain it, but it feels like believing in god would be giving up, a declaration against my own personal responsibility and Self.

I effectively agree with your description of Self.

I somewhat disagree with your rundown on Nothing. Yes, it is true the concept of nothing relies on another's interpretation, therefore negating nothing. But just because the conceptual nothing can't exist doesn't mean a Nothingness couldn't exist which simply wasn't observed, wasn't known.

Regarding negating god. I should be more clear - I am atheististic agnostic, which is fairly common among atheists. I make no claim that I can 'negate' a god, because, for similar reasons as you discuss, I can't prove the negation. But just because I can not prove something doesn't exist doesn't mean it exists. Hence, atheistic agnosticism, I am functionally atheist while philosophically agnostic.

I don't see how 'to deny god is to deny the self'. I can fairly state I exist in some form since I can type this. Even if I am a figment of your imagination, I still operate in such a way as to currently seem to have Self. But I do not understand how that gets me to god's existence or nonexistence.

My wife finally wants to leave this city... the gunshots and recent carjacking helped. But we can't move too far. Oregon City, or Milwaukee or something. I know people are better outside, but it doesn't help when stuck in the city.

He calls it out regularly, he just does it... subtly. He will list 5 examples, then say something like 'but it wouldn't affect the election'. Then a few minutes later, points out that if you added all of it together, it would be a lot.

He is obvious about his contempt for China. He calls out Biden as being compromised by China daily. He points out a President could not allow the office to go to a compromised individual rarely. He never puts these three ideas together, not because he is stupid... but because he is careful to get around youtube.

I live in Portland and am down to just my immediate family because all my previous friends have gone insane woke. At least my kids are awesome.

Sucks. Would move if we could.

Tim is solid. He rags on China constantly, states Biden is compromised at least twice a day, goes over alot of the latest fraud examples...

And because he carefully watches his mouth to not get kicked off youtube some get upset. Eh, he is far more powerful on YouTube than not on youtube. He is waking people up.

The people who hate him clearly do not listen to him regularly.

They all took the vaccine.

If he were pure based he wouldn't have settled and he would have forced discovery.

This is not meant to be a criticism, settlement is great for him. Discovery would have wounded media worse, though.

Agreed. There are some here who seem to seek divisiveness. This is no surprise. Ask yourself if your post excludes people and pushes them away, or pulls them towards Trump. Those who pounce on any misstep are engaging in the same cancel culture as the left and many are likely doing so intentionally.

I am a lifelong atheist, where do we start? As a kid religion bored me, and I despised going to church. In my twenties, I despised religion. Nowadays, I understand the need for religion in society and am extremely concerned by the secular religion other atheists seemed to have adopted.

That said, I still am an atheist, am extremely grounded, try my best to act morally, and am open to whatever discussion you want to have. I do not think you can convince me of anything, but you can try.

Either we are fucked or people are playing this close to their vest so they aren't targeted by the media or others.

If you speak openly about fraud, some won't listen. Watch your words, and more people will. It's the sad truth. If Paul openly said the election was stolen, the media wouldn't print his words at all - so for now, stay subtle.

This is a propaganda war - we need people operating at every level. Straight up six shooters like Powell, smooth politicians, meme warriors, fence sitters like Tim Pool saying there isn't much evidence of fraud while literally reciting volumes of fraud to get around youtube restrictions... it's all different techniques to push forward.

Everywhere here has underwear on their face. It's sad.

I'm on your side. My point is people expecting it to be done before the deadline is past makes no sense.

Um, it can't have come true yet, that's sort of the point.
