If it is life.... And it is human...
Then it is human life.
If it is human life, we are duty bound to protect it.
If it is incapable of living without our help, even more so, just as we would defend a newborn with our life from a predator.
Trying to draw lines got us to the point where Governor Northram is talking about post birth abortions. We drew lines with 'safe, legal, and rare' and saw the left take that compromise and spit on in in the past 10 years.
I am done compromising. Burn me once...
My 6 year old loves Castles. I used the lines in the chorus "We could fill our coffins with the rocks they have thrown Or we could build our castles with the sticks and the stones"
To explain how to deal with bullying, and how to convert the negative energy of others into positive energy [ie, if someone makes you angry, use that angry energy to make something good, be it a drawing or a lego build or whatever].
Tom is amazing. This song has some great bars.
It isn't about equality. Rather, it gives the government power to override traditional protections like freedom of religion. This would be then used to harm religious organizations that refuse to support acts which they may be against, like abortions or youth sex change operations. It would also cripple womens' rights due to trans related issues [men in sports, rape crisis centers, etc].

Tom is fantastic. If any of you want to listen to this track, check out 'Politically Incorrect'.
But his entire back catalog is worth checking out. The dude is self made - no manager, no agent, just him, his girlfriend making amazing videos, and fans. Speaks out against wokeness, the music industry, more.
'Castles' will always be my favorite because it hits home, but there are a lot.
James Lindsay has detailed how intersectionalism works. It infects a group, gets a foothold, replaces leadership [by getting old leaders exiled], and then takes over. If an organization is too resilient, then it will instead set up its own organization next door and try to steal the power of the original organization by labeling it racist, fascist, etc.
This is how they are dealing with the police. Force defunding, replacing leadership. Then they will, as OP says, create their own morality police where members are carefully selected for adherence to intersectional values.
Dangerous times, never thought I'd see it here, to this degree.
Oh, I'm not saying you should like care about or even like them. I'm just saying in every thread about anyone good for Trump, someone inevitably starts trashing them. I don't see the point of endless trashing of people for Trump, even if we don't personally dig them or how they go about it.
I agree, and I understand. I moved here before 'Portlandia'... or better put, in the early days of it. It wasn't bad at first - people moved slower, people were very friendly, homelessness was very contained.
The last 5 years have been progressively worse. The last three years have been terrible. This year is horrifying.
I don't know how to fix it. Everybody has blinders on. We can't vote these jerks out at the local level because we have no options.
I want out, just waiting on my family to come around.
Pool does far more to redpill Dems than you.
He does this by fence sitting. He takes your slings and arrows and keeps pushing on, redpilling normal people.
You are only creating division. How is that helping? It isn't.
While I realize there are many valid reasons to dislike various people, from Crenshaw, or Pool, or Shapiro, or Rand...
When every single thread about anyone on our side comes up, they get trashed. Every single one. Sometimes for valid reasons, sometimes not. But the end effect is disunity, division, tearing everyone working to maga down.
You will never agree with everyone. That is a given. We need to recognize that. If we knock down every voice speaking for us because of one difference or another, we get nowhere and have no voice.
Let the left be the group that cancels everyone.
My wife doesn't see the problem yet, or at least, doesn't connect the rioting and homelessness with the local government. For that and various other reasons leaving is not a possibility. If I was solo, I'd have moved years ago. With family, I need to hold up here. Which absolutely sucks for me, since the friends I did have out here all veered far left [not surprised, really]. My wife sometimes talks about moving out of the city, and I keep gently pushing in that direction.
I dislike posts trying to get us to hate people who are good for MAGA.
Pool is a master redpiller. He is absolutely voting for Trump. If you don't like his fencesitting you don't understand redpilling... he is not speaking to people already redpilled.
Utter insanity.
