Apparently it was about 6 dislikes to 1 like before Google started removing them to cover Biden's overwhelming lack of popularity.

I know this is probably a rhetorical question, but just in case some are still not aware:

They absolutely do. War gives them a bigger budget, more power, and more promotions.

  1. If our legal system functioned as it should that would be the correct way, agreed. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. The newly installed rulers would never allow us peasants to expose their inner workings, much less attempt to fetter their power or remove any of tax slaves. Not through the judicial system anyway.

  2. True, there will always be bad apples on both sides. Thing is, even the Emancipation Proclamation was a tool to subvert the South and cause chaos, not necessarily an act of good will.

Now, therefore I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, by virtue of the power in me vested as Commander-in-Chief, of the Army and Navy of the United States in time of actual armed rebellion against the authority and government of the United States, and as a fit and necessary war measure for suppressing said rebellion, do, on this first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and in accordance with my purpose so to do publicly proclaimed for the full period of one hundred days, from the day first above mentioned, order and designate as the States and parts of States wherein the people thereof respectively, are this day in rebellion against the United States, the following, to wit: Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, (except the Parishes of St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Jefferson, St. John, St. Charles, St. James Ascension, Assumption, Terrebonne, Lafourche, St. Mary, St. Martin, and Orleans, including the City of New Orleans) Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, (except the forty-eight counties designated as West Virginia, and also the counties of Berkley, Accomac, Northampton, Elizabeth City, York, Princess Ann, and Norfolk, including the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth[)], and which excepted parts, are for the present, left precisely as if this proclamation were not issued. And by virtue of the power, and for the purpose aforesaid, I do order and declare that all persons held as slaves within said designated States, and parts of States, are, and henceforward shall be free; and that the Executive government of the United States, including the military and naval authorities thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of said persons.

I would say the ugly truth is that both parties have been self-serving prostitutes for quite some time. It ultimately comes down to the elites versus everyone else.

My point is that things are not so black and white. The North was not entirely the magnanimous good guys nor was the South the traitorous, white supremacists that history books make each of them out to be. It was two sides who had increasingly differing views on how to proceed. History is written by the victors and they'll be writing about us the same way they do the South or the third reich if we lose the war. They're already trying to.

This. I'm getting real tired of the constant calls for censorship on here--whether through mods or deportations due to disagreements.

It's getting to the point where you can't even have a serious debate on here anymore because it just devolves into name calling or accusations.

HR is usually a leftist den. They'll probably just turn it around on you for being a bigot or report you to the FBI for being a potential terrorist. lol

Sad thing is I'm only half kidding about the second part--at this point I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it happened.

They're the same team. Any attempts at appeasement was just political kabuki theater to placate the GOP.

Out of curiosity, what are you looking forward to most from the Biden administration?

FreedomCrayon 2 points ago +2 / -0

So by that logic the left is right that we're traitors because many folks on here advocate for states to succeed. The South were not traitors anymore than we are for wanting succession--they used their constitutional right to leave (that has since been ruled against by the SC). The North was exploiting the South for both taxes and resources, not to mention was becoming increasingly large and tyrannical. The narrative of slavery being one of the main factors is propaganda that was/is exploited. Do you think 95%+ of poor southerners fought and died to keep slavery when they had no stake in it? It was about state's rights and sovereignty.

I would say the United States that was founded on the US Constitution is likely over. That document (or any of the other founding documents for that matter) no longer means anything to our now overlords. That being said, it doesn't mean the country is dead. Most empires only last about 10 generations before they collapse and a new one takes its place--this can be in ideology, politics, ruling class, etc. and not necessarily in name. Whether it will be better or worse will depend on we the people.

I see you only know the civil war through the lens of public indoctrination school, friend. The propaganda is more far-reaching and deeper than most realize.

Care to point me to a few examples of the far right being the "biggest terrorist threat to the US"? Examples that are exclusive to the far right.

And no, all the counterterrorism experts don't agree. That much I can absolutely guarantee.

An interesting thing about the "radicalized muslims" though is how "counterterrorism" groups have been using them for decades to rationalize our involvement in the middle east when in fact our interference in the first place was a catalyst for them forming.

On a somewhat different note, have you by chance ever watched Yuri Bezmenov's interviews? I'm curious as to what your thoughts are on that.

Link in case you haven't or wish to give it another watch before responding: https://www.bitchute.com/video/uGBwXQZDrFx3/

And what's your reason or evidence for thinking it's only white supremacists that dislike Biden or support Trump?

What's your definition of a white supremacists?

And what is your take of those on the left who took a whole plot of US soil and said it was an autonomous zone (CHAZ/CHOP where they killed two young black men and passed out rifles like candy)?

What's your take on all those put out of work or lost their entire life's work because their businesses were looted and burned in the name of systemic racism? Is that not domestic terrorism? What about those in neighborhoods who had to hide because they didn't want BLM/antifa to destroy their home or hurt their family?

This went on for months and the media portrayed it as "mostly peaceful protests." Now imagine if the situation were reversed.

What's your take on John Sullivan (a known BLM activist) being an instigator for the 6th and working with the FBI to frame people?

I can respect that you don't support domestic terrorism, but I hope you apply that to the left as well.

The fact that you said

won’t respect domestic terrorism or radicalization from the far right

seems pretty ignorant or willingly hypocritical. Do you respect those things if they come from the far left? If so, perhaps you should do a bit of introspection.

Shit, at this point pedophiles are viewed as better people than us "evil terrorists Trumpers." Soon (if not already) they'll have more rights in the eyes of the law too.

3
FreedomCrayon 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lol you just want an echo chamber then. That sounds very leftist. And where in the rules does it say we can't have differing views? What you view as a "dooming shill" may be a reasonable assessment to another.

There are people on here from all walks of life who have different opinions about what's going on or what will happen. Don't like it? Scroll on, downvote if you feel so inclined, and go on with your day. But if your first inclination is to kick someone out because they don't agree with you, maybe take another look inward.

thats why a man in a vegas can injure 500, kill 61, in 10 minutes. but he's obviously a strong american hero.

Don't even need the handshake icon to tell me you're new here lol

Oh she'd still have it. Just us peasants wouldn't be able to partake--for our own safety, of course.
