Those in power only have authority based on threats, manipulation, and violence. The laws they make have no backing other than the words of those signing them. They have ignored the underlying authority of the constitution and they move swiftly to remove the people's ability to do anything about it.
They don't protest peacefully and they intend to make all other viewpoints illegal.
